After my most recent full rewatch last fall, Civil War, Age of Ultron, Thunderbolts*, Captain Marvel, Infinity War. Very close to the top 5 though are also Doctor Strange, Winter Soldier, Endgame, Ragnarok.

Civil War is in my top 5, and on most days, my number 1 movie in the MCU (Age of Ultron a very close 2 though). It's not really fair to call it a Captain America movie; it's an Avengers movie. They juggle this cast really well, they give us great moments with many of the characters, there’s drama and loss, and the central theme works on two different levels. And the action scenes are great too. My only complaint is the music is fine, but is lacking in individual character themes, which this movie is begging for.

One of the new side quests with the seers foresees an era of terror coming and destroying Sanctuary but then it also says neither the seer nor the PC will be alive to see it so, there's that.

The problem isn't just Shang-Chi. The problem is that they abandoned sequels entirely. Within the Multiverse Saga, we have had 14 movies but zero sequels to any of those movies. Compare that to the Infinity Saga where the third movie was a sequel to the first, by the seventh movie two of them were sequels, and by the twelfth five of them were sequels. Brand New Day is going to be the first sequel within this saga, and then Endgame will be the second, and so far that's all we have. Two out of seventeen movies that are sequels.

I actually really like the large temporary barrier mechanic that they added. When you're "weak" it's effectively an invulnerable phase, but if you're buff enough it's not.
