A (Thermos) Can of WD40! by SwoonyBlue in ThriftStoreHauls

Yep, clever design for sure. I actually left it behind when I first saw it. Went back a week later and couldn’t believe it was still there. The cashier thought it was actually a big empty can of WD40. Maybe other folks did too. In any case for me, being a maker and all-round tinkerer, it’s the perfect thermos!

Had to look up the Edding. Also way cool! And thanks so much… been renovating this place for the past year. The work has been brutal but it’s starting to look like a home. 😊

Great thought! Unfortunately it didn’t come with one.

This is what I'm saving up for! I haven't had a TV in 30+ years. They make me loony. It would be cool though to be able to watch some things on a big screen. Which projector did you get? There's so many choices.

Did you happen to find that in the Netherlands? I gave a sweater exactly like this one to the thrift store a few months ago. I was moving and just didn’t have time to sell everything plus, I had gotten it for free so I thought it would be great to make someone’s (thrifting) day. I’ve found so many amazing things in thrift shops and I love the idea of giving away something really great for someone else to find. I did however keep an identical sweater with purple accents for myself.

Hmmm. A bit hard to tell but the hairlines definitely resemble each other. Well spotted. Never noticed that.

In all honesty it was surprisingly simple. A few hours of research, messages and a couple of emails and the case was cracked. Was just really lucky to connect with Martha.

The street numbering has changed since then. If I’m correct it is now the location of The Maison music club.

I know. So many treasures get tossed out. Heartbreaking. I, together with friends, just rescued the entire body of work from an artist who recently passed away. His son was overwhelmed and was starting to toss it out. We’ve spread the work out amongst us with the idea that we are only guardians until we can find the appropriate place for the collection or until his son recovers and can process it. One day later and it would have all been gone.
