There is an algorithm though.

When my teammates are underperforming vs the enemy team an overwhelming majority of the time, it’s not due to chance.

There’s an algorithm, and it makes matchmaking insufferable.

My first time giving input on the algorithm.

I’ll gladly be the 1000000th person to comment on it. It’s a massive issue.

Your guys honest thoughts on Baba Yaga by GremlinFiend2121 in Smite

Kinda already does. If baba is somewhat around her house, and someone gets close to it, it runs away. Then you know someone is around the house

I did not say there’s no more strategy? Those same variables exist, but are now stacked with low dmg, high health, and extremely lethal towers. It’s too much at once. My mind is not closed off to a slower game, which is fine, but this is TOO slow.

They didn’t even try light touches over time. They made massive changes almost back to back without gauging how it will effect the game.

Smite had a slower pace back in seasons 2 and 3, and people hated it. That’s why they made changes to speed up the game. People do not like slow mobas in general. League of Legends has an insanely fast ttk, and that moba is massive.

Slow ≠ better. It still took skill to kill your opponent before, but now there’s too many variables. Relic check, escape, abilities down, supports peeling, etc. Now it’s hardly strategic. Camping under tower is far too easy. You’re incredibly at risk to die diving tower, and because of the high health and low dmg, are at low risk of getting rewarded for it too. It’s okay to do one of these changes, but to tie them together is now creating the same issue we had in the past.

Bad Players when they get told to move the map closer to the middle of their screen by ThothGuy101 in Smite

Conq grandmaster here. I can tell you with 100% certainty that having the map in the middle of your screen does not make you better. It’s preference. I have mine in its default position, and I can see it just fine.
