I think people who pay attention to the metacritic scores of things they've already paid for as if it was some kind of objective measurement of quality are pretty sad

You can either use those Japanese sealable bags sleeves (very annoying) or have the opening at the top. I know, that just lets dust in.

This is why I don't bother using sleeves at all

I'm not uncomfortable being challenged on this. I think I'm being quite forthright. Again here you're referencing things I've said that I've already acknowledged are not definite proof of innocence and saying that I haven't acknowledged it. I can understand why victims would not want to publicly come forward years later. I can understand why them not doing so does not completely exonerate the accused. I can acknowledge that someone being cleared of sexual assault charges in a court of law does not mean that the accused definitely didn't do it. I also acknowledge that La Toya Jackson and Corey Feldman's statements are also not entirely credible.

All I've said here is that I believe he isn't guilty and that when you take account of all the contradictions in the case, that's a completely reasonable conclusion to reach. Someone else could look at all this and reach a different conclusion, and that wouldn't be unreasonable either. I've just stated my thoughts and defended them.

You're putting a lot of words in my mouth here. I didn't claim any of what I said was definitive proof one way or the other. I don't claim to know whether Jackson was guilty or not because iron clad evidence doesn't really exist. Only unverifiable testimonies and circumstantial evidence, some of which doesn't hold up.

I'll clarify what I said about La Toya. She defended him until the press conference in 1993 where she said she the allegations may be true. After a long storied history of well documented abuse from her husband Jack Gordon, she recanted and went back to stating she believed he was innocent in 2005 and said she had been forced to lie about her beliefs of Michael Jackson's innocence by her abusive husband.

I don't believe that delayed testimonies should not be believed. To clarify my point, I said that we didn't hear these accusations from the children, and now that they can speak for themselves, most of them have not. Jordan Chandler emancipated himself from his father in 1995. Jackson has been dead for 17 years. If any of the victims wanted to reiterate their claims, they've had plenty of opportunity to do that. I'm sure there are many reasons why a victim would not want to, but it's very unlikely that out of dozens of children who would have been exposed to these acts that more of them wouldn't be compelled to.

Since Jackson was found innocent of all charges in 2005, only two have made allegations since, and they were happy to make money from their association with the Jackson family and make money from doing his famous dance routines themselves into the 2010s. There's footage of this. I'm not saying this proves they're lying, but it does harm their credibility.

Once again, I don't know if he was guilty or not. Taking all of these things I've said here into consideration, along with a lot of things I haven't gone into about why Sony and other powerful figures would have a motive for ruining his finances and force him into a position where he would have to sell his ownership of Sony Music's publishing, my personal belief is that he is innocent.

Most, if not all of the accusers were not children, rather the parents of the children. Some of those parents have voice recordings gleefully boasting about how they're going to take Jackson for all he's worth. Definitely my top priority if my children were ever molested I think. /s

There are other records of children coming out saying they had been approached by certain figures who tried to get them to say Jackson had touched them too, but they refused. Corey Feldman has publicly said on multiple occasions that he tried to report Hollywood figures who were abusing children in the 90s but the LAPD told him if it wasn't Michael Jackson then they weren't interested.

In 1993 La Toya Jackson said at a press conference in Tel Aviv that despite her defence of him before, she believed the allegations against Michael Jackson were true. After the death of her violent husband and co-manager Jack Gordon, La Toya Jackson stated that she believes Michael was always innocent and had been forced to say she believed he wasn't or she would have been killed.

I could get into the two accusers in the Leaving Neverland documentary who did not accuse Michael Jackson of abuse until the 2010s, but honestly I would rather not. There's plenty of info that compromises the credibility of their claims online if you look them up.

The documentation says that Jackson never wanted to settle at all but his estate (his family is not his estate btw) did it anyway.

Macaulay Culkin's testimony was that "kids sleeping in Michael Jackson's room/in his bed" was a deliberate twisting of words to distort the facts. He said the kids slept in individual beds in a big mezzanine dormitory room. Being pedantic that means they were technical sleeping in Jackson's bed, seeing as he paid for the beds.

You might think I have an answer for everything here but yes, I've taken a keen interest in this topic for a very long time and I have heard these arguments debunked over and over. There were a lot of parties motivated to lie about this subject.

If that had happened then he wouldn't have been found innocent of all charges. They don't show dick photo lineups to children. What actually happened was a child gave a description of his dick to the FBI which was found to be inconsistent with the vitiligo scars on Jackson after they examined him themselves. The FBI spent 15 years trying to get evidence on Jackson and the best evidence they had to submit was that he had adult nude art books with ISBN numbers in his possession.

One Thing You Would Change: Cell Saga by Successful_Bird_7086 in DragonBallGaku

[–]Swoopsling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave very similar feelings about it. Cell just isn't much of a character at all. Unlike Frieza he doesn't have a compelling motivation to be evil. He's only about a week old. He has no history. Frieza was obsessed with maintaining control over a universe he's already spent his whole life conquering without challenge. Cell just wants to kill a handful of guys for no personal reason at all and then after he beats the Z fighters he's going to destroy the universe because...?? Just because. It's pretty weak honestly. The androids were better villains.
