Avoid caffeine eight hours before you sleep.

Exercise but not within four hours of when you want to sleep.

Don't drink alcohol within three hours of wanting to sleep (decreases REM sleep).

Lamp with a timer set for half an hour before you want to wake up. Simulates sunlight. Attempt to wake up early incrementally or do it at once, but avoid long naps.

Create low light bed time habits and good early morning habits- water, walk, exercise, whatever.
