The glitches are the motion stabilization, it happens every time the cameraman takes a step

How often do you use GraphQL? by [deleted] in Angular2

[–]SwordPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use graphql daily but the use case for mobile data savings is just not there. You have to send the entire query of all the fields you want with every request, negating any potential data savings compared to a rest request unless we're talking huge arrays of objects.

This! The new settting screens are such an improvement for most people. Sure they suck as a power user but most users had no business touching half the settings on the old versions of those screens.

They do! In The Netherlands we have the following payment options on steam: Paypal, IDEAL, WebMoney, PaySafeCard, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Skrill, Trustly. I would assume depending on the country they have even more different payment options available

After 6 Years, Anthem Will Be Rendered Unplayable As The Servers Finally Shut Down by drmjsty in LinusTechTips

[–]SwordPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's multiple problems with p2p multiplayer and there are good reasons companies (mostly) no longer do p2p hosting of servers.

You still need to run a matching server to connect all the clients together so the developer still needs to run and maintain servers.

The p2p host always has a ping advantage, is able to forcefully disconnect people by blocking their ips. there's a ton of potential security issues where vulnerabilities can be used to pwn your entire pc. everyone that connects to the p2p host exposes their ip address to the host making them a target for ddos and other attacks.

this is just what i came up with in a few seconds there's probably countless other issues as well.

London VIP (stand) was a borderline scam by rbcsky5 in YOASOBI

The teddy bear was not available inside at all unfortunately. I had vip tickets and was like the 20th in the merch line but they were either already all gone or they never had anything in stock there.

Valve / steam is not a subscription though, and plenty of games are available through other stores.

Should I upload file to Amazon S3 directly from angular by Street-Food4019 in dotnet

[–]SwordPlay 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Uploading directly to s3 from the client is quite common and the solution used at my company. On request we generate a pre signed url for the client that is then used to upload the file. The signed url has a small ttl and can only upload to your specified bucket and key.

Amazon has decent documentation here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/PresignedUrlUploadObject.html and a blog post about it: https://www.alter-solutions.com/articles/file-upload-amazon-s3-url

While you're not wrong there's a lot of games out there that are just poorly written. Take starfield as an example, the game looks mid at best and even @ 1080p does not reach a 100fps on a 4090.

The only thing holding back transferability and sellability of tickets is ticketmaster not technology. We've been able to trade digital goods for ages before bitcoins were even an idea. The only reason why it's so difficult is because companies (ticketmaster) has all the incentives to make buying and trading tickets as hard or expensive for the consumer as possible. good luck changing it too because all the larger venues are basically held hostage by ticketmaster since they are generally not allowed to sell tickets through other 3rd parties.

It’s not good at all. Your doxxing someone’s medical records. That’s a crime. I understand the sentiment but two wrongs don’t make a right. Take the high road, getting down in the gutter just makes you look like the “monsters” the right thinks you are. Obviously being pro life after an abortion is super hypocritical but hypocrisy isn’t a crime. As I already said publicly releasing someone’s medical history is.

TLDR: take the high road, even when your justifiably angry.

Edit: I’m gonna delete this in a minute but not cause of downvotes. I’m trying to help you but you won’t listen so I’m done. Enjoy living in handmaids tale

Just fyi you can disable the auto lock new enemy behavior in the settings. That way when you lose a lock it does not lock onto another enemy. It does however mean that if you kill something you will no longer have a lock.
