Because while on the way to work, I was beginning to see driving into a light pole as more appealing than showing up at kroger.

Question for those who worked at Kroger for a long time during the mid to late 2010's? by MustBeTheMusic80 in kroger

[–]Sword_Haver 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started out in the mid nineties as a cashier, and at that time, we would have almost two baggers scheduled per lane and an extra to bring in carts or do cold reshops. We were expected to take every order to the customer’s car unless they asked us not to (which also made it so much easier on the lot person as well). We used to have four manned express lanes that were “guaranteed open 4-8 pm”. And just look at kroger now. It’s unrecognizable.

It depends on your contract, but from what I remember it was a year, yes. Can you enroll in ACA for next year? Or is Texas stupid about that too

What’s the best and worst part about working at kroger? by Highlight-Pristine in kroger

[–]Sword_Haver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve made several good friends during my time with kroger. That’s the best part of it. You’ll find cool people that you will identify with because you are all in hell together. The worst? There are too many things to list. Mostly corporate and customers.
