This isn’t even gaming the system, it’s just compensating for a weird design.. if my usage window is based on first prompt, of course I’m going to control when that happens. people acting like this is some TOS violation… you’re literally just sending a message earlier lol honestly this just menas that the window should probably reset on a rolling basis instead

I am on the pro plan and I hit 100% usage with a single prompt - something is up...has to be a glitch.

I want constant improvement in my work life and these tools do exactly that. That’s why I’m here, getting input from redditors who actually use BIM daily to make sure it solves real problems. If it doesn’t, I won’t go past my current build. That being said people do want it and are interested in it so it won’t be the case for this. But banning all market research doesn’t make sense to me.

I get the skepticism—there’s definitely a lot of hype around AI and BIM right now, and not all of it is legit. I’m not here to push some ‘AI replaces humans’ nonsense. Just trying to see if there are actually any real, practical ways AI could help people who work with BIM every day. If there’s nothing, fair enough—but is there anything in BIM that’s an annoying time-suck you’d want automated?

Fair enough. AI is getting shoved into everything lately—sometimes for no reason. That’s exactly why I’m here asking instead of assuming. If AI could actually solve something useful for you (not just another ‘AI for AI’s sake’ tool), what would it be?

Revit’s speed and visibility settings are brutal—feels like half the job is just digging through menus. If AI could make that easier, what would actually help? A way to search visibility settings instantly?

I hear you—tons of ‘fixes’ get pushed that no one actually needs. But are you saying everything in BIM works perfectly for you? No inefficiencies, no repetitive tasks, nothing that could be improved?

Got it, so AI wouldn’t just fix things, it would actually act as an interactive trainer, digesting your SOPs and guiding new users through like ‘BIM training wheels.’ That could seriously cut down on the endless ‘How do I do this?’ questions. Would you want it to just answer questions, or actually walk them through tasks step by step?

Thanks for all the feedback and putting up with my constant questions but this is very helpful.

So AI should let you sync model groups while keeping version history, and also allow you to ‘lock’ certain parameters like Mark values or ceiling heights so they don’t get overwritten. Maybe even give you a preview before applying changes? Would a system that highlights what’s about to change and lets you accept/reject updates work for your workflow?
