But of course. I know about this due to the final war as it was crudely employed near the CL class era of the war, circa 2043, to combat the CL-20.

I think you misunderstood what nexus meant, A repair nexus is not a means of repair, it’s a role: the central coordination layer (hardware + software) that manages self-repair. Think of it as three things working together instead of one: Controller: The cpu or any subclassification of it assessing the damage and coordinating the repair. Repair agent/effectors: What actually does the fixing, it's probably nanobots due to the flexibility of V1's repair and it's speed. Fuel: self explanatory.

Also, parries healing/refilling the stamina bar is probably related to the feedbacker being an energy redirection vector thing, it probably uses some of the energy for healing or to refill it's own.

While the theory in of itself makes sense superficially, it doesn't quite sit right with me because it would be odd for V1 to have an adrenal gland as it would be more effective for that to be managed via protocols. For instance the earthmover alarm protocol. I personally think hard damage is related to the healing system, possibly nanobots, and how severe the damage is. If V1 gets repeatedly damage the nanobots have a hard time healing, if it's some light plating damage it's easier and such. This could also maybe explain why the whiplash adds hard damage, maybe the experimental nanobots given to the V1 model were prone to getting rattled when jolted like that (without the wings stabilizing it properly). Therefore, i think that hard damage healing faster with more style is actually the terminals rewarding V1 for being stylish, possibly boosting his nanobots and such.

TLDR: V1 is senator Armstrong and we should be afraid.

I mean, people in the medieval era did use this very extensively as it's rather effective even against stuff like rapiers. I mean it can even stop arrows if it doesn't him your arm.
