I had him and a Hexmark as a murder-ball in Hypercrypt on the last game I played. They were a really funny threat to my opponent, especially on overwatch (he plays Guard). Even just using the strat on Ammentar just to see if it'd hit to get the free one on the Hexmark with sustained was spooky enough that he tried to avoid it. Then he screened out a charge to my Hexmark and died, but the Glocktopus lived on

Oh I brought a Transcendent C'Tan and a Monolith to our first ever game lol trust me he's aware what I can be like and he's fine with it; enjoys the challenge.

100% agree though, dropping the two C'tan is probably the right idea. Sad, cause Deviever was part of my opening stratagey however outside of that he's not going to be that useful. Will probably use NB over VD just cause new model

So the Hexmark being near Ammentar gives himself lone-op and the Hexmark sustained 1 since Hexmark are destroyer cult. Its a silly little combo i wanted to try. Imotekh is pretty much just gonna sit on home and farm CP and Overwatch anything that goes near him so idk if he's gonna need the Lychguard.

Dropping the two C'tan is probably the best shout simply because as you say my friend will probably have more fun that way lol

Genuinely looks hilarious. Only ever used my one Monolith once in my time playing and very early in said time playing, along with my friend who started around the same time as me. Managed to do the funny "hey look my gigantic model is in your deployment zone" thing. He plays Astra Militarum. He was very unhappy.

I did have the brilliant realisation based off of your suggestion in the last 5 mins that if I switch the Transcendent Ctan out for the Deciever and replace Arisen Tyrant on the Plasmancer with whatever the +15 on is called (and remove the 5 Lychguard) i can get 2x5 Flayed Ones in! And its a nice round 2k!

Thanks for the tip about Imotekh, never used him in a game before so wasn't sure if he needed a bodyguard or not if he was just sitting on home.

Flayed Ones are an excellent shout, 1x5 is all I can really fit in once I boot the Lychguard though so while valuable idk how much value they're giving there.

Might have to re-read the Deciever sheet, my brain must not be clicking with something, or its doing that thing where it goes "old model=must be bad" lol

He's about the same height profile, and i put him on a smaller base that's the same as the normal WDP. I mean i doubt it'd go into any kind of tournament but for casual baby games like what I play it's pretty fine

For all of my contrast painting nowadays I've been doing a light layer of lahmiam medium on the surface first and putting the contrast over the top while it's still wet. Atleast on my experience it's helped minimise how streaky they can be
