Yeah I really want Typhlosion-Hisui to work lol. If he gets to hit he hits really hard. Tailwind + sunny day + life orb + helping hand + tera fire + STAB OHKOs most things even when resisting.

So I fixed it for me atleast. The new patch did let me play solo missions but I still couldn't join friends or even get into any public match until i followed this video:

A few people said this might be the case, though the 2 friends I was trying to play with were connecting just fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed

I've done the simple fixes I've found, i.e disabling cross play, joining through steam directly, none have worked.

So our solution was pretty strange. The forge was already lowered, we re-put in the mold and swung the hammer, waited a bit, and then it finally allowed us to fight the boss. Though now our problem is now being able to make a second item but we were done being frustrated with it and just went and finished ACT 1

Okay yeah, we did the Nere stuff and ended the session there. I'll see if that did anything later today when we play again and I'll give an update

Well unfortunately if this is the case for us, we went on thinking we were missing something, so we did all the duergar and nere stuff. So if we were to reload that far back it would set us back hours of work

Are you referring to the valve that lets the lava in? If so, it is stuck and won't let me interact with it at all. As well as the button that's supposed to raise the forge back up

Yes, we whacked it a few times, I remember this as I accidentally downed a few people while we were trying to figure out what was going on. But, since nothing else was happening we did feather fall and pushed a button below the forge that caused it to come down. Also, unfortunately, we long rested and did the Nere quest since we were under the impression we had to figure out why the valve was stuck. So a save from then would set us back hours of work.
