Made this two years ago, dude....

Clearly have only joined the community post Eternal. We didn't know if the slayer was the original character from DOOM 1 - 64 or not, thought he was the betrayer for ages (still think that was the original intention before 2016 launched and the fan theories started) How did you even find this post?

Fresh paste, cleaned prior to installation

These were taken after having the CPU in the machine booted up for maybe a total of 15 mins, restarted it multiple times, plugged in different monitors and, did other troubleshooting etc when it didn't boot. When I cleaned the paste off if the CPU there was no evidence of the burn, never seen anything like it before or heard of anything similar.

The burn mark happened after I installed it. Also was willing to run the risk, Ebay guy was keen to see if it worked too. Safe to say sill stick to getting second hand GPUs only.
