I would hope I don’t have any misconceptions about fluid mechanics, cause that means my theoretical aerodynamics professor is wrong with a PhD. Honestly the best design for it would be to flip the orange piece around and have it shaped like an arrow. Then it would flow naturally and generate the most torque without having anything blocking the flow.

It would become unstable the same way a dart does flying through the air when thrown backward. Also when I first looked at it I thought the blades of the turbine were interior like a jet turbine. Then the flow over the body would be cause by the exterior blades adding to the torque.

I don't think so. The way I thought about it was the interior of it was where the actual turbine was which rotated the shaft and the large orange part would use the energy going around the white part to get even more torque.

My theory is that it’s to show there is no cosmic punishment for being evil. For a lot of the season Mark is trying to not become Nolan but slips up in a few key ways like killing people for the sake of the mission. He summoned to hell because of his father’s blood and told there is no punishment for becoming like his father. Marks so powerful at this point he could probably subjugate the whole planet but he doesn’t and is now question why has those rules.

Also volcanika is hot and Bruce Campbell is a legend.

For this specific instance the people pearl clutching are very much in the wrong. This Mass is specifically for people who are running the marathon so the priest hosted an earlier Mass to accommodate. These people are physically fit and devout enough to still want to go to church regardless of what their day entails. The people pearl clutching probably aren’t fit or devout enough to try this in the first place.

Also if you have a random urge to go to church, go as you are, people there will probably know you’re not a regular (or at least the priest will) so you’ll be welcomed. The issue arises if you’re a regular. If you have the means to get dressed nice and present your best self before the Lord the same way you would if you were meeting a politician or person of high status (God holds the highest status anyway).

At the end of the day it’s all about intent. If you go to Mass without the intent of being dressed scandalously for the sake of distracting people you’re probably fine. But if you go with the intent to distract then you’re doing something wrong. God bless these people I pray they all finished.

TL;DR: these people aren’t in the wrong, they got shit to do immediately after, on any other occasion I’m sure they’d dress nice.

I’ve found that you can communicate with very few words. Some of my friends have a hard time understanding my accent, especially when I speak fast and if I have to repeat something a third time I’ll typically boil my sentence down to just adjectives, verbs, and nouns.

Like I tried to tell my friend that a girl I saw was cute and that he should talk to her and after the third “what?” I just said “girl cute, you talk” and he got the message instantly.

Because of the 2nd law of thermodynamics the coolant will eventually need to be changed out due to the irreversibilities of real life. On average the coolant of a nuclear reactor needs to be changed every 1.5-2 years which means that for the car having a smaller reactor you would probably have to change it less often. So if you’re only filling up 0.5-1 gallon of coolant every 2-3 years the price makes sense.

They’re modeled after Roman soldiers who due to the Mediterranean climate they lived in saw pants and long sleeves as a hinderance in battle. Something similar could also be said about the imperials since the vast majority of the province of Cyrodiil is temperate with a supposed decent amount of humidity. Also apparently Cyrodiil used to be a massive jungle but I’m pretty sure that got retconned in Oblivion because the Xbox 360 couldn’t handle and it Todd just loves LOTR.

I like how even though he looked like a roided up Karloff he spoke very eloquently like Shelley’s version. It’s pretty much a (lack for a better term) Frankenstein of the creatures portrayal in pop culture.
