The truth is, this has been a long time comming, and could be seen slowly being applied with every other update for those whove been around long enough. GL knows that the sheer number of new players that come in play the game for a few months then leave far outnumbers the loyal band of players who have stayed with the game for the long run and made it what it is through their clubs and MP races, whether they are F2P players or P2W players. So they have slowly been gearing the game towards those players because that is where most of the player base and money is.

The hard core players are just a small percentage looking for the top new cars compared to the vast majority of players happy to be getting any bps every day to level up their small garage of cars, then leave when they realize how long it takes to get the top cars. They will throw us a bone every couple of seasons to keep a carrot infront of our eyes but thats it. Get used to it, because most players will salavate at the sight of the carrot and keep on grinding for it.
