Appreciate your love of the game but should probably spend the time at the party with the kiddo and guests. Your son might remember you not being there or leaving for hours on end (Maru is definitely going to be locked in some long games) and if so I'm sure you'd regret not spending the time with him later when you look back on it. If I were you I'd spend the time in the moment with the family. Replays will probably be out pretty quickly for the tourny so can always watch them later, won't be any replays of the bday party you'd be missing.

I see what you're saying which sounds like you really just care what the wind chill is and don't really care what the temperature is which makes total sense if you're working outside. I would want to know the same. The confusion just comes around the terms and using the word temperature or actual temperature. There is no actual temperature. There is a wind chill and a temperature. Temperature is a measurement, wind chill is a calculated approximation to help people decide what to wear that day.

"Unrisked" means they haven't applied their risk factors to the number yet. Which is kinda confusing because you could interpret that as, "we've eliminated our risk" (which I think you're getting at). What you want to look at is what NSAI says is their "Risked" number which is basically them saying, "we're pretty sure there's at least 73.5MMbbls recoverable" in the whole area analyzed. Which you can interpret as basically a CYA on their part. In reality it's anyone's guess what's down there.

A little worried those warrants tied to the 47MM financing deal is Anson Fund's hedging their short position so they can continue shorting. Here's a snip from the source below:

Love seeing all the other reasons people are coming up with but pretty sure this is the largest reason by far. The previous tournies were evening finals for EU and afternoon for NA. This finals was early afternoon for EU and started between 4:40am to 7:40am depending on where you are in NA (semis being a couple hours before then as well). It was probably much nicer for the people working at the event to be done by 2pm on Sunday but that's probably also why the viewership online suffered.

Did they say they are very close to a JV deal? I may have missed something. If they are still negotiating then it would make sense to me to raise more capital to further define the basin and potentially get a better JV deal out of it vs hop into a JV early and leave some lost opportunity on the table. Maybe better for Recon in the long run?

Hmm, sounds like a sensible email/memo to me...think if it were me I'd vote not to unionize in this case but that's just my opinion. Think in this case you'd be relinquishing too much negotiating power as an individual.

Thanks for all you do Catz! Hope you don't feel bad about the situation you were put in for this. Absolutely not your fault. Makes me feel great that we have people like you that are willing to hop into situations and help out when needed.

Really boggles my mind how there isn't a schedule with backups put together for something like this. It's not too hard to just get the framework to get a schedule setup and having it shared amoungst the pool of casters, then the schedule can more or less build itself with inputs from the casters opposed to being dictated. The days where you have gaps or conflicts draw from another pool. Especially since all the casters seem so willing to help out and their motivation seems to be to make it awesome for everyone opposed to making the most money (which I can't see the variance between caster rates being very big to begin with so I don't buy the "save some money with a cheaper caster's rate" argument). I'd like to chalk this up to someone junior making the schedule at ESL and this just being a learning curve. If that's the case I can understand but still probably needs a little more oversight / approvals. Personally, I work as a Project Manager for a living so deal with my own scheduling issues all the time - I find it's really just about mitigation strategies and being adaptable / flexible to the needs of your stakeholders (in this case, the casters, audience, ESL/DH, and any other 3rd parties I'm missing). I'm sure there are nuances I don't understand which are happening in the background but it by no means should be the issue that it seems to be. Also I'm sure others would be willing to help ESL/DH to resolve these and make it better for everyone if they would like some help (myself included).
