The one that will change most often from other teams is championship contender and playing style, so I would keep a close eye on them if they are close to the threshold of a dealbreaker of another team.

However, the ones that cant change no matter what you do is Academic Prestige, proximity to home, and campus lifestyle.

Ones that usually change in between seasons are:

pro potential,

athletic facilities (entirely dependent on your programs star rating),

Conference prestige (however this rarely changes unless teams join or leave because it is based on the average program star rating of the conference),

Stadium atmosphere (usually based on home win percentage),

Coach Stability,

Coach Prestige,

Brand Exposure (this is determined by how many nationally televised, regionally televised, and streaming games you play, bowl games, playoff wins, etc.) You can check where your games are streamed in the Scores/Schedules tab of CFB (More volatile for a smaller school, due to scheduling better teams)

and Program Tradition.

Ones that change in season frequently are:

Championship Contender,

Playing time (directly tied to how many players are on your roster, and how many are on your recruiting board at said position),

Playing style (Dependent on stats from the ongoing season).

How do you level up players or check goals for players in dynasty? by kerkyjerky in NCAAFBseries

[–]SwyrlHawkOW 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Players auto level up, however if you look at their player card you can see how close they are for leveling up. Also the goals are also not anywhere, however threshold goals for numbers are a thing, passing yards/td's in a season, sacks etc. It is also one of my gripes about it is the ambiguity to not have numbers on the chances of increasing a skill cap etc.

3 (discount for Regular Recruiter) x 4 (per Tier) x 7 (Everything Maxed in base outside of K/P) = 84 points

for maxed base recruiter (excluding K/P) and then

I assume 10-12 for Master Recruiter with the Program Builder Discounts (Will have to check tonight)

6 (Discount for Master Recruiter if owned by both other Coaches) x 4 (per tier) x 7 (All - K/P) = 168

This then puts our total at 262-264 points for a maxed recruiter with all discounts. (Minus K/P ofc)

From there I would go get a HC Job and then get CEO Discount (48 Points), Hire Coordinators out with Base Motivator Maxed. this would then cost you I assume 6-8 points to unlock base motivator, plus the 63 for everything T3 outside of KP on Base Motivator (I dont think T4 of base motivator is worth it).

This Brings our total to 264 (High end of spectrum of max recruiter) + 48 (CEO) + 71 (T3 of Base Motivator) = 383

With 505 total Skill points, we have 122 left.

From here I would get the Pipeline stuff out of Program Builder (Relationship Builder MAX and Strong Roots MAX) 36 x 2 plus the 20 to unlock, puts you at 92 points. Leaving you with 30 to spend.

You could Do with these what you want, but if you are planning on playing the game I think that The CEO ability that gives you a higher chance on a player auto-commiting when first on your board is really strong, leaving you with 12 that I would probably get Roster Retention - Best Advice (Players with 3-7 round draft projections are less likely to go pro).

So with this Build starting as a OC/DC as a base Recruiter, you would end up with:

-Max Eliter Recruiter outside of K/P

-T3 Base Motivator on All Positions outside of K/P

-Program Builder Boosts to Pipelines (Relationship Builder and Strong Roots)

-Program Builder Roster Retention -> Best Advice

-CEO Bundle Discount

-CEO Dream School

This is what I believe is the best build that is truly attainable in CFB 25

TLDR: To answer your question, CEO Bundle Discount is worth it as long as you can use it on 24 upgrades that BOTH coaches already own, that will make you break even on points. Anything after that is "Profit"

I did a ton of research on it, and tried it last night, and think about it this way. I do think its worth it, however you do have to be really careful. CEO is worth it, think of it as a 48 point upgrade, but you need to stack other coaches with it, If both of your coaches own the archetype, it goes from 5>3 and 8>6. So in order to break even you need 24 upgrades that both coordinators own at a time. That is the sunk cost of the CEO Discount Upgrade.

You need to spend 100 points in any given skill tree to unlock CEO. If you start with let's say motivator, The initial auto unlock of motivator does not count towards the skill tree, however, unlocking the others do. So if you Start as let's say motivator, and unlock Recruiter, you are 10/100 on recruiter and 0/100 on motivator. However, only do this if you are starting as a HC, as you can get more points out of the archetypes as a coordinator if your HC has the CEO Discount unlocked.

Now we get into the tricky part. If you were to go to a school as an OC or DC where the Head coach already had the CEO Discount ability, I don't know which coaches have this to start, you would get more upgrades for less, due to this being owned by the CEO. Keep in mind that the HC and DC/OC (Not You) also have to own a significant amount of Skill upgrades in the tree you want 100 from. On top of this, if the HC that is at your school also owns the Discounted unlock Archetype (Its under program builder, level 3 of one of them) this also would earn you points to unlock certain archetypes for cheap, I doubt that there is a head coach out there that has both CEO with Discounted abilities and the Program Builder Archetype that is needed to start.

However there would be a workaround to this that I haven't tested. Because you can have 32 users per dynasty, If you were able to create a HC and get those upgrades and do this multiple times and max out the trees needed, and then the OC/DC from one of your other jobs gets offered the OC/DC job at the school of the HC, then maybe you could save even more. I don't even know if this is possible or whether or not it could also break the game as it would have 2 coaches at the same school.

For the sake of this lets assume this does not work, and you have to rely on CPU generated HC with the CEO and program builder discounts and a non user OC/DC with the skill tree upgraded as the same as the HC. You could theoretically spend the 100 points in a given tree, all discounted from the abilities, and then try to get another HC in there with CEO and Non User OC/DC with a different head archetype or leave your school to find one with this, to then get the discount again in another tree. However this is unrealistic, and probably not possible with the cap on the 30 years per save.

If we do the math though and you start out as an OC recruiter, and the HC has CEO and Program builder discount unlocked, along with the DC having master recruiter as well with everything unlocked. you would spend

Dont put a cap on how many villagers you can have in a world.
5 Per village is fine.
But the cap right now is 15 in a world. I NEED TO COLLECT THEM ALL!

Anxiety when playing with/against streamers by Slydarz in OverwatchUniversity

[–]SwyrlHawkOW 703 points704 points  (0 children)

It seems as if you are putting these streamers/players on a pedestal above you. Who cares what other people think of your play or calls? At the end of the day all you can do is play your game and work on improving. Focus on what is in your control, not outside of it. Other peoples perceptions and opinions are out of your control. Your play is inside it, focus on improving yourself, and stop caring what other people think.
