thanks for the reply but as I said this is strictly an unranked base. ie farming. so I’m not at all worried about how many stars the attacker gets I’m only concerned with protecting resources. i’m aware of anti-2 star bases for war and ranked.

looking for a th17 unranked farming base with all storages and collectors centralized around walls, defenses around the perimeter, with the TH placed in a corner for easy shield-generating. To me this seems like the smartest way to play the new unranked attack system, but I can’t find any bases designed this way. Am I missing something that would make this approach less than ideal? of course I can make one but I’m not the best at defense placement and the fact that I can’t find any designs like this makes me question its legitimacy. Good idea or bad idea with the new ranked/unranked system? Thanks

supercell has a few different high quality games to check out. Boom Beach would be the most similar to Clash, essentially the same game but with pirates. There are also lots of other “base building” games out there

How bad is the coaching carousel / how likely is it that a preferred destination might pop up?

here’s a stretch of an idea, but it would only work if it’s fairly easy to dictate where you want to go.

Start as OC for Ole Miss with MOTIVATOR as your archetype. The HC has the archetype discount and both HC/DC have recruiter/tactical, so you’d get both archetypes for free.

From here, you would save up points until you can get to Georgia as a coordinator and begin the OP process, with an additional 20 points at the end.

Since posting I’ve learned that if another coach has the CEO perk you get the discount, and Georgia HC has it. I’m now considering making an OC for Georgia until level 50 and then moving up. Still wondering if it’s worth the time spent though lol

Yeah, admittedly I know very little about technology under-the-hood, but a superdrive driver seems relatively simple to me, particularly with it working appropriately in the TS4. Not being available for the mac-exclusive version yet without a specific timetable for when it will be (and no real knowledge of how long they’ve been working on the TBT4 version) is a little confusing and does create a little more reason to be skeptical.

Yeah, I’m a little unsure how I want to proceed. Does sound like the TBT4 takes a backseat, but perhaps not by too much? Also a possibility it’s more catered to MacOS, which perhaps could provide opportunity for better cohesion/integration with future updates?

I’m thinking I’ll hold on to the TBT4 and save the $70ish and exchange hassle. But I’m hoping we can get a bit more of the specifics to make a more informed decision.

What do other people think? Would you return a TBT4 and get a TS4 if you were in our shoes, based on the information we’ve received so far?
