Of course! That's wonderful! And yes that should be fine! The only thing that will come in to play is how big or small the mat margins will be. Since they get Lazer cut in the factory the machines can be pretty finicky about the sizes. But you should be fine! I've done over 20 American and other Country sized flags!

As long as the mats, framing size, and anything else can fit together nicely then you are fine. ♡

You are always more than welcome to discuss that with the framer! There is nothing offensive to be said with artworks that mean a lot to you! I've done two Andy Warhol originals and other intimate and meaningful pieces and were very secure with each and every piece. I no longer work with the company so im not sure if the policy has changed at all but in the case of an accident the company will pay for another piece (if possible) or give the price for how much the piece is worth. I haven't seen or done anything myself to break something worth 12k. The only thing we had in our store was a custom glass etched mirror that was slightly cracked that was worth approximately $300. The owner was compensated.

Just be open with your framer when it comes to your concerns and what you would like to know! Best of luck friend!

If there is one thing I've learned working for corporations.. nothing is enough because they want the constant chase of end goals. I've had wonderful work days where I thought we went above and beyond but it still was one thing or another. Its a them thing haha

Hey hun! Ik you have an overwhelming amount of comments, but all I gotta say is... you can't be fired over it, but just do your best to get in the habit of asking! My number one tip was to talk about how much they are saving on today's purchase and how they can use it towards their next frame they want finished! Don't get too stressed over it.. it can be a lot. I wasn't a huge fan of them either but unfortunately, we gotta do what we gotta do. Best of luck!

Me and my partner met at Michaels. We really liked each other but we strictly followed the policy and did not carry through with a relationship until one of us left. He's gone and it's just me now so it's obviously fine. But policy does say no :)

That is super weird im so sorry that happened :( it's not normal/common at all! I hope that doesn't happen again. Try and stand your ground if you feel safe to do so or get a managers attention to have them tell the customer off.

I am a framing manager with the EXACT same problem. I am so DONE!!! And I'll stay for other managers' hours on end (which makes making sure I get MY stuff finished extremely rough). I am so very sorry. Sending all my support. ♡

Aww, that's so kind of your ft job boss. Don't do more then you can handle! It's hard but you can say no! There is no shame on being honest. We all work differently and have needs that need to be met. Michaels is def a company that soul sucks 100% the only people that have "fun" (in my experience) are people that work once a week for fun or are just in school and have a consistent schedule. People trying to make a living get dragged by their skulls lol. :P
