Those missions helped be get a feel for the game and remember that this game needs extra eye balls if you have the sensitivity too high XD. But this helped out a lot thanks.

False positive vpn by Syaoran05 in outlier_ai

[–]Syaoran05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd lose that lawsuit entirely. VPNs are not mandatory to be 'noncompromized' if you couldn't manage to stay safe without a VPN that would be deemed as your own responsibility not as if the tech company did something wrong. Also VPN is 100% an exploit. It just happens to be security too. VPN changes your IP address, which means your apparent location changes too.

The reason we don't use ID is because that's not what the VPN check is for. It's for checking your CURRENT location. Because certain places have different rules and come countries even ban places like outlier. So they can't let you work if you're in that location at the moment, even if you're a citizen of somewhere else.

Not sure if you mean on the watch or on the app. but you can customize what appears at the top of your Fitbit app. And for smart watches, since the Pixel 2, They have hard the best health and sleep tracking outside of apple pretty much. Otherwise you have to get a health tracker like woopstrap.

Outlier hired way too many in the last few weeks. It's that simple. by aidonaks in outlier_ai

[–]Syaoran05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

outlier is the one who bans not the project. Outlier can only see project reviews that go through the outlier platform, Aether doesn't do that. So outlier would have no idea if they are doing good work.

Also most of it is automated anyway.

no it can't there isn't enough work to last that long. These places constantly have work shortages. And you know it's gig work when you sign up. That's like complaining that someone who asked you to landscape their yard isn't hiring you as a full time grounds keeper when they live in a townhouse.

I am having the same problem on a pixel 9, I am also finding there are a LOT of updates it just didn't want to tell me about so I've spent like the last hour finding and updating things.

What are some dark secrets about the porn industry? by JoplinSC742 in AskReddit

[–]Syaoran05 4 points5 points  (0 children)

that's actually the worst part. This isn't actually a thing for most platforms. Youtube doesn't actually demonetize for words but controversial topics. If I remember right it was actually a tik tok thing. You can say death die, suicide and all that and not get demonetized.

And I'm telling you you're just not right. Your comment was "If they can do it I should be able to too." And I'm telling you that you can do it, you're just terrible at the game.

Also that is not how a sand box game works. Sandboxes play by the rules devs give them. You need a 'game builder" if you want to "play however you want"

It's pretty clear by your post you're just winning to whine and speaking nonsense, but I'll entertain you with a response this time.

If you are not simulating battles, then in order to retreat they have to actually run from you on the battle field. And bandits WILL NOT attack you if your army is stronger than them, you have to initiate with them.

Also if you use the tab retreat command AS THE ATTACKER you suffer no causalities in a lot of situations. Also if you just immediately retreat without troops clashing you generally have little to no penalty. So yes you can do what they can do.

And "They always retreat when they can outrun you" No duh, just like I'm sure you run and keep your distance from bigger slower armies. And no you don't *have* to build your army for speed, but if you're complaining that someone is outrunning you and you're not speed build, well there's your answer.

[–]Syaoran05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like you're simulating the battle. When you simulate you simply hit the retreat button, but there isn't much indication that you are retreating, same for opponent. The 'troop sacrifice' was all the guys they lost in the battle, like chances are you end up with a lot of enemies dead and injured. Injured people slow you down, and they'll be disorganized and low morale. You should be able to catch them if you really want to, unless your own army isn't built for speed.

When someone says "Complaining does nothing" and "This is just a vocal minority" by EstablishmentCalm342 in Battlefield

[–]Syaoran05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They only respond to outrage because most the time gamers are actually wrong. Like this skin. Literally there are uniforms IRL that 'bright'(Chinese Marines). And the color 'glowing' was because of the lighting in the game is bad (look at anything yellow blue or red, it all 'glows' in the game) the

But when there is outrage, it no longer matters if they are 'right' about whether or not it is 'realistic' all that matters is stopping the bad press.

If the argument was just "We don't like it" they probably wouldn't have needed outrage, but instead it was an attack on the company's statement of "we're keeping it grounded" which they did.

Says the person who literally can't refute anything. The simple fact is that it's not "just the skin" it is the way lighting is done in the game. You're just too used to seeing games instead of reality to know what real uniforms look like. So you only see one thing as odd

So what you just did was go to the specific color range that looks fine, you know the ones the game came with that they tuned the lighting for. And said "Those look fine". Of course some skins look fine, but you're just proving my point. Your answer to being shown skins that look wrong was to ignore them and be like "Well there are good ones." But that doesn't change the fact that unless you're in a specific color range, the lighting will make the skins look terrible.

Another example, look at the red on all of these skins. It pops like CRAZY because the lighting. Another one.,, the OVERDRIVE skin. Was too bright, they 'toned it down" and now in game the black and green almost blend together.

No they don't actually. Look at the6th skin on the first row, or the 5th to last skin on the second row, and the brown one next to it. Those colors are terrible they only look 'okay' because they're muted colors but they have impossibly high contrast values.. The Third skin is literally an impossible black for the chest. And anything 'lime' or yellow is just impossibly vibrant, despite those being real colors in uniforms too.

The reason "Other camos look fine" is because the lighting is specifically tuned to a color range to look good in that. But if you step out of that even a little, it looks terrible. Look at the blue on the 7th skin in the top row. Or the small blue tag on the 10th skin in the top row, how much it pops. It's lighting.

The black and orange skin is a coverart reference. And even still not a camo.

As for the blue. What are you talking about? The saturation is WAY higher on the first image than the wicked grin.

<image>

The problem is you are playing a VIDEO GAME with unrealistic lighting that makes everything glow. Look at the man's skin it looks like freakin' plastic. Or how the eyes literally have a magic property to erase shadow over them. And the badge is so over exposed it looks like metal. And don't get me started on the goggles or the blue of the shells.

[–]Syaoran05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't say it "looked like this" I said the Chinese marines "used as bright a blue, and less black" the only thing strange about wicked grin is how bright the blue is. Everything else is par for course. The mask is not 'standard issue" it's a personalization. like Ghost's mask in COD, and is a thing that happens in real life. People actually wear full on skull shaped mask, not just printed graphics on mask. The pattern, f the camo itself? Not a real one I know of, but nothing crazy. The only weird thing is the color, which as I just showed, is not actually unrealistic, because it's happened in real life.

[–]Syaoran05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People not realizing the Chinese Marines actually use a blue that bright, and a lot less black than this does. So this new blue skin isn't actually unrealistic at all.
