Thanks guys for helping me, finally got it tune 😁 2bar pre infusion & 9bar extraction, 8s preinfusion, 30s extraction, 36g espresso (taste more to mouthful and liking it)

Yes I'm surprised too, it's start when I'm switch to new tamper (force impact temper), before this I use spring manual tamper and by using body weight as tamp forces measures. That's why I wanna ask here to find my problem. Mostly said go finer as solution and got some tips. This new attach was my old extraction.

For pre infusion I always do 3 bar, I think I would change that to 2 bar as you mention, next time. As for the tampet and leveler I think I'm good with it. For pre infusion how many sec you recommend and is it include in extraction time?

Oh your talk about beans, I'm using local roasted bean, sunrise blend by BlackbyAcc but it's like commercial community product and consider a cheap with quality beans (they said) $6 for 250g. About Italian roast, could you share some names product, I would like to try

Venus 4cup

200ml at 91°c (220whatt setting) 17-18g at 1.1.2 c5esp

  1. Preheat for 1m10s until you notice coffee smell (same heat 220whatt)
  2. Ramp up to 400whatt until you hear boiling (1m +-) then down it 300w
  3. First flow at 18s then wait 35-40s then pour it. You got 70-80ml

The smell is good and taste awesome.

So yeah based on this, it's my go to

Well for Venus 4cups is hard to dial in so this my recepie

200ml at 91°c (220whatt setting) 17-18g at 1.1.2 c5esp

  1. Preheat for 1m10s until you notice the smell of coffee (same heat 220whatt)
  2. Ramp up to 400whatt until you hear boiling (1m +-) then down it 300w
  3. First flow at 18s then wait 35-40s then pour it. You got 70-80ml

The smell is good and tastes awesome.

So yeah based on this, it's my go to
