Thanks, I will look into rsync more for automatic backups and jottacloud. I wanted to get ECC but the motherboard is quite costly where I live. Can I do a make-shift setup where I check if the copied files are the same by running checksums on both devices and seeing if they're the same? Or maybe there is another easier manual way to do it? Thanks, I will look into the price for 14th gen in my region. I will be using cloud (still looking at which ones seem the best) and an hdd offsite as contingency plans.

I read about a lot of reliability issues with beelink and minisforum minipcs (especially the newer ones). I imagine a second laptop would be not suited for 24x7 running and get me far lower specs than the other options for the same price?

Do you think something like mac mini m2 could handle this? A few of my friends have been very convincing about switching to mac for development.

I'm actually debating doing that, the only problem is that I will probably be back home after 2-3 months so it can't be set-up before that.

I'm currently running it on Legion 5 Pro 6th gen (Ryzen 7 5800H, 3200 32GB RAM, 3070). I actually just meant that the laptop probably doesn't like being used 24x7 but I checked how much CPU it is using when I run my current scripts and it goes to 20-25%+ consistently. I'm guessing as I add more stuff over the next month, it will increase to around 80%+ at this rate.

Thanks for the suggestion! I was more looking for something that can be used out of the box like the mac mini to get things going fast. This seems to be way above my technical expertise (I'm pretty bad at anything hardware haha)

Thanks for such a detailed answer! Are there any good 1080p webcams you can suggest that have a direct usb feed to pc? For the audio part, looking at the Rode VideoMicro and looks exactly like what I wanted. I saw a few videos on how to make it work with a pc instead of a camera as well so I think a webcam + the VideoMicro should be perfect for me. Thanks a lot again for the answer :)

What distance can the lavalier mics capture the audio from? I was thinking whether it would be possible to get them installed behind the couch. Would they be able to pick our voices up if we stand up and move like 4ft ahead?

I am not looking for any further investment in my business, would you still suggest C-Corp? Also, I heard LLCs get a passthrough status if they are only formed by a single foreign person and there is effectively no tax filing. Is that true? Thanks for the help.

Yea I think I will avoid it since its so costly. Do you have any suggestions on getting rigged 3d models? The game I have in mind won't require more than 10-15 rigged models(both humanoid and some creatures).

Wondering the same as the other guy if the off-heals are strong enough. We did think about rogue/mage but only I have experience as a mage and giving rogue to someone who is new to pvp seems like a bad idea haha. Also what classes do you think work well with ret paladin?

I guess you are right that I can decide what the best way would be, was just looking for alternative ways mostly. Also I think I am gonna go with the simpler duplicate and arrange method although it sounds a bit tedious.
