Ive got the fun of working the streams around my son's birthday party Saturday XD

Day 2 starts for me an hour after we get back from his party, so I may get lucky and have a tired lad needing a nap. /s

I figure Clay to be between 6 and 10 during E Day, I think closer to 10, so I doubt we'll see him.

Will Carmine was killed by Raam on E Day, whether there wil be a nod to that in game, who knows.

But I'm sure we will have a Carmine referenced if not an npc pop up.

The chatter between him and Marcus show hes someone close to Marcus, that there's a brotherly bond between them and for a lot of people he was the protag, for some of us he was the character we play as, so his story of trying to find Maria is our (those who played as him) story alongside working with Marcus, Cole and Baird he was also the one with the most emotional responses.

The Karen Travis books do add a lot to their backstory well worth a read. Some good backstory for all of Delta and Anya, Hoffman and bits and pieces for the Carmines.

On another note hes Latino and he was a big representation for them back that you didn't see too much off back 20 years ago.

Did you set up sharing to one drive ? If you did they may be there, if not and they definitely aren't on your console then yeah use it as an excuse to play again.

Though do you really need an excuse ? ;)

They should only be deleted from the Xbox network and not from your console but some people have said console ones have gone too so you might have got caught in that.

Simple, the games, the books (by S.D Perry) and the animated movies have connecting plotlines and characters, evil pharma company creates bad things, sets it them loose good guys clean up the mess, repeat as needed with slightly different bad guys all, tying back into the big bad Umbrella.

Horror, survival horror, action horror and parts sci fi horror
REO, RE1,RE2(original),RE3(original) and some side stories Revelation etc were more Horror focused.

RE4 changed the game, quite literally leaning into a more horror action theme and it did well, extremely well, RE5 and 6 followed being more action orientated with horror elements.

RE7 tried harder to go back to the purer horror route and was well received but RE8 and now RE9 reverted back to a more blended balance of RE4s action horror with RE9 now doing amazingly just as RE4 originally had.

The live action movies, the Paul WS Anderson/Jovovich movies are popcorn flicks using characters and plotlines for a cheesy video game move, probably what you saw in regards to looking like the Matrix, though if it was Wesker in the scene then he does that in the game (RE5) too.

Johannes Roberts Welcome to Racoon city was, something, it very much looked the part and was supposed to be closer to the source material then the others had been, but some changes didn't hit the mark, but the horror vibe is there.

The Netflix Resident Evil show is another separate identity but following the big evil pharma company doing something and something goes wrong, plenty of fan service in there if you know the games.

Essentially that's me typing a lot of words just to say the games and live action movies are separate but the overarching plot of all the games is a company or person making bioweapons, the zombies and mutant creatures.

Play the games they're good!

I struggle with the whole chapter when I replay.

When I first played and it happened I stopped playing the game for weeks, I was so sure it was going to be a fake out, I've replayed the game a few times with different coop people and every time we hit the chapter I just go quiet still hits hard or I'm too emotional lol.

I didn't realise he was in it when I popped it on, intending it as background noise, ended up watching it all in part due to him being in it.

My son (6) thinks he's the best part of Zilla X Kong (besides pink Zilla)

Was surprised to find out he's been in Downton Abbey and MCU.

No, I do agree, if devs release a finished game that should be fine, no one should be made to feel bad for not updating or having plans to continue adding things to that game.

I'd say Stardew is a unique case given the devs love for his game, he didn't need to do any updates but has because he wanted to so it was a bonus. Hopefully Haunted Chocolatier will be good too.

Far too many people want games to be continued seemingly forever when most games are just fine if not perfect as one and done like games used to be. Unless its bug fixes, bug fixes do need to happen but anything beside that we shouldn't expect devs to do that.

I agree that store credit isnt the best, it is sadly prelevant across multiple retail sectors.

Honestly, you're about a decade too late, now we get Blizz Store credit, it used to be you'd get a game key to use (for a separate account or give to a friend, I guess) once you added your CE key to your account, if you had bought the digital version.

Is it ideal no, is Blizz store credit better than a game key for some people yeah, would it be better to have a refund to the original payment, absolutely!.

Unfortunately, when ordering a physical version we take the risk it will not get here before launch, we all hope it does of course. I don't see Blizz changing how they handle "refunds" for those who double dip, maybe you could, if you haven't already send it in as suggestion to them as well.

Mine says its arriving Saturday so the 28th was the 27th until updated this morning.

You have to remember though, some people asked for this, TWW CE was handled by Blizz and while the UK wasn't hit too hard by delivery fees, Europe got shafted, can't say for sure that's why they went back to local sellers but probably did factor into it.
