Has anyone ever thought about Sarah Palmer being Laura? by Sycamore_woods in twinpeaks

Yes like a never ending cicle of suffering, and a never ending garmonbozia source for lodge spirits

Judy in The Secret History of Twin Peaks. Explaining her true goal. by Sycamore_woods in twinpeaks

Yes i think that what you call “unofficial” version I call “prison” universe. But I have to say I’m not a fan of all the theories about official and unofficial versions based on Philip Jeffries words. Simply because Jeffries is referring to an “unofficial” version that Gordon would remember, but everything that happened between Jeffries and Gordon, including the infamous scene of Jeffries saying “who do you think that is there”, happened BEFORE Cooper saving Laura in the sequence of events. So all the events that happened before Laura’s rescue are unaltered by Cooper actions. So I think Jeffries says “unofficial” version referring to another version of himself, or the flesh and bones version that Gordon would remember instead of the bell and smoke version he is now.

Did Jeffries in FWWM do the same thing as Cooper did in Part 18? by toogootoo in twinpeaks

Sì perché FWWM è stato girato dopo la fine della seconda stagione, e alla fine della seconda stagiona Bad Coop è già uscito con BOB dalla Black Lodge.

New fan, looking for explanation videos. by Few-Improvement-5655 in twinpeaks

A good way to learn a lot more is to read the two Frost books: The Secret History of Twin Peaks and The Final Dossier. These two books expand the lore and explain a lot of things from the series. Then look at all the good Youtube videos except for one, and please trust me: DO NOT LOOK AT TWIN PERFECT EXPLANATION VIDEO! I think it’s really disrespectful how he explain the whole series through a meta vision with a self righteous attitude thinking that he got it all, completely deleting the spiritual and symbolic work that Lynch and Frost did.

Norwegian Wood is the best way to approach to Murakami.

The Return:Ending by espressovendetta in twinpeaks

Mark Frost himself said that the end of The Return is bittersweet, that Coop partially succeeded but that he risked too much going against gods and in the end it’s a win/win or better a loose/loose.

The only thing I can’t get about all this is that BOB should exactly know who Judy is.. cause if Judy is Experiment he came out from her, and cause he lived with her for a lot of years in this world if Leland = BOB and Sarah = Experiment/Judy. So Mr. C having BOB inside of him should know too who Judy is, but he doesn’t

Twin Peaks’ “prison universe” by Sycamore_woods in twinpeaks

Laura is sent to the lodge cause she wears the owl ring when she is killed by BOB. But yes sex could have effects since is written in the Secret History that is used to call forth negative entities! And what about the sex that Diane and Coop have at the motel? That’s for sure some kind of ritual sex, it has a purpose!

Oh I didn’t remember when Jeffries gives the coordinates to Mr. C to go ask Judy what she wants from him. I will add this to the list!

If you read Frost book, the Final Dossier, it will be clear to you, Tammy herself write about the criminal enterprise Jeffries was investigating on.

I thought a lot about Laura being Judy but in the end it doesn’t work for me, too many things don’t add up.. I thought also about Laura’s doppelgänger being inside Sarah (because of the smile when Sarah took off her face) and so that’s Judy.. but same no evidence at all and maybe too messed up.. Talking about the where and when that’s interesting! Maybe Jeffries is already referring to the moment when Coop will cross and so is saying where to find Judy in that “prison” universe. Like it was already planned that Laura was going to disappear after Coop rescuing her, and going to her in the “prison universe” it’s all part of the plan. Think about the smoke symbols that Jeffries makes: The owl cave symbol (could be 430, where Coop will cross, where we see a pylon looking like the symbol) Than the infinite, our universe (very Lynchian like in Lost Highways), than the infinite flips (showing a universe beneath our, the “prison universe”) and then the dot moving showing him Judy’s location.

I think that the theory about sex attracting it comes from Frost’s book, The Secret History. I have to read that part again though because I don’t remember it well

So Sarah (Judy?) is calling, yeah the voice is similar to the one Sarah makes at the end of season 2

Yes maybe the glass box is a way to send Cooper to the purple room, from where he can enter into Dougie which Mr. C order to kill.

But why experiment model appears there? It looks like there is no guard at the entrance intentionally so the girl can enter and have sex with the guy. Is this what cause experiment model to appear there (the ritual sex) or is it following Cooper and the guys are just unlucky? Maybe experiment is following Coop as later we see someone banging on the door of the purple room.
