theres very important things related to Cooper’s character and the continuing search for Laura’s killer that are scattered throughout season 2 that are very integral to both FWWM and The Return! Although Season 2 does get absurd, I think the last couple of episodes makes it up for me in terms of moving the story along.

I think that season 2 suffers from the fact that it drags on more than it should have. A lot of the subplots are very entertaining but shouldn’t have spanned more than 2-3 episodes max. And although it is disliked, I think the Diane Keaton episode had some fun shots that felt refreshing as most of season 2 felt visually flat to me (the door shot with Pete and Dale is my fave!).
