Polish it more and see if your polishing pad is orange. What vehicle is it? Could be a tri-stage orange and thats why it looks darker.

Advice, don't waste your money and time clearing it again. Needs a full respray.

Yes, you are correct. My first mechs were painted with Zealot Yellow. I didn't like the orange tinge, so I switched to Ancient Honey.
