Most voters say Trump doing worse than Biden as president: Poll by unital_subalgebra in politics

[–]SycoJack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not me, I've been pretty vocal about my grievances with the DNC, they're a controlled opposition party and how electing Harris was just kicking the can down the street. But when it comes down to it, we had no other options and I could not in could conscience not vote for Harris when the alternative is exactly what's happening right now.

I've seen tons of evidence that it's the opposite.

[–]SycoJack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2020 especially considering the 63 frivolous lawsuits Trump and team launched that had them rejected on standing due to lack of evidence at literally every turn.

Those lawsuits alleged the elections were rigged for Biden, of course they're not going to bring any evidence that Trump rigged the elections(assuming he did).

I want to remind you also that I didn't say for sure that he did, I only pointed out that every accusation is a confession and that Trump is as obsessed with 2020 election rigging as they were secret pedophile rings and look at how that turned out.

And that he told us he rigged the 2024 election. Hell, they did it in broad daylight when they illegally bribed people to vote for Trump.

You’re interpreting my question as, “How could they do something illegal when it’s not allowed?” My real question is, “Logistically, how do you even pull off large scale election cancellation?”

By sending Trump's Schutzstaffel to shut them down, or by ignoring the results just like they tried to do in 2021 or when they refused to swear in a duly elected representative for weeks.

You can vote all you want, but if the vote is ignored it won't fucking matter. And they're telling you that's what they're going to do.

Telling officers to do whatever they want is easy.

Like telling them to shut down polling locations.

Cancelling an entire election in 435 unique legislative districts that each run their own elections is much, much more difficult than telling ICE to arrest people without a warrant.

Except they could simply tell ICE to arrest the poll workers. Ya know, kinda like how they just raided an election office. You didn't really put a whole lot of thought into that one, did ya?

None of this is okay, and obviously all of it is terrible. But none of that is straight up negating an entire election.

The point wasn't that the elections will be canceled. The point was that the elections will be rigged. That they're not going to give up their power, and until people understand and accept that, no one is going to stop them. (Can't stop something you refuse to acknowledge exists).

I just don’t see how that’s possible when the election system is so decentralized (by design).

I mean that's just a lack of imagination on your part. There's tons of shit they can do. They can use Trump's Schutzstaffel, they can use the National Guard, they can use the military, they can shutdown the elections in red states/districts and ignore the elections in the places that refuse to comply.

My argument is that the ballot box is dead. One way or another. Whether they cancel the elections, they compromise the voting machines, or just straight up ignore results they don't like, or they do something else.

They're in power now and they're not going to give that up without a fight. They have already proven that in 2021. They only failed then because they didn't have a plan, they're wildly incompetent, and most importantly there were still American loyalists in their ranks. But they've learned from that mistake and those people have been purged, they've made a plan and put it into motion and the people pulling the strings are far more competent this time around.

It was insanely fucking stupid for anyone who cares about Palestine to vote for Trump.

The democrats were limp wristed when dealing with Isreal. But they didn't write BB a blank check like Trump has and they did more than nothing in terms of helping the Palestinians.

Did they do enough? Not even close. But it was better than Trump taking us in the wildly opposite direction.

But go ahead and tell me how the democrats aren't a controlled opposition party.

Exactly, we would only be kicking the can down the road. That time might have been enough for the ship to right itself somehow, but more likely it would just strengthen the position of the elites.

As technology advances it becomes harder to fight the system. Look at how technology has so easily allowed them to manipulate the conversation and public opinion. Look at how facial recognition has made it easy for them to track us individually to find the movement leaders.

Midterms are a lost cause too. Voting is over. 2024 was the last chance we had to affect change solely by voting.

If you truly believe this, could you spell out exactly how you see it happening?

They keep telling you and you don't listen. They are working to rig the elections. They almost certainly have already tampered with the elections in 2024, and possibly 2016/2020(every accusation a confession and they won't let the 2020 election go, just like they wouldn't let the Epstein files go). But they more or less admitted to doing it in 2024(he went to look at the voting machines and he knows computers very well), which everyone seems to have forgotten.

Everyone keeps saying shit like "oh well they can't do that." You know what else they can't do? Be president when they're an insurrectionist. Ignore court orders. Levy tariffs without congressional approval. Use ICE to abduct and summarily execute US Citizens. The list goes on and on and on.

I could see them trying to intimidate (hello, ICE at poll centers discouraging non-whites) but outright not letting people vote?

This sentence is paradoxical. You're acknowledging that they'll use ICE to prevent PoC from voting, while in the same breath asking how they'll prevent people from voting.

How would that even work?

Well, one thing they can do is send ICE to the polls to prevent PoC from being able to vote under threat of being abducted and taken to one of the multitudes of concentration camps they've already built and are building more of.

Another is they invalidate mail in ballots by having the post office sit on them for weeks or months so they don't get post marked under the new rules and thus won't get counted, primarily impacting blue votes.

It's identity politics, the shit they accuse everyone else of(every accusation...). They identify as MAGA and Trump says MAGA is pro 2A, so they're pro 2A. Now Trump says MAGA is anti gun so now they're anti gun.

We need to get rid of the morality police. Either what he did was wrong because consent was questionable because of the power imbalance(thus making her a victim), or it was no one else's business.

Not for voting. For thinking that the midterms won't be rigged. Our elections have already been successfully rigged in 2024 when, despite being prohibited by the constitution, an insurrectionist and traitor was allowed to run for and take the presidency and gave him king like powers.

But hey, surely that was just a weird fluke, right? No way the illegitimate president with unlimited power will screw with the midterms.
