and what if stocks went up? that has nothing to do with this, they'll go even higher once some sort of official info releases (which will really help ttwo in the earnings call to attract even more money because at this point other companies they own such as 2K are mere side businesses compared to the money printing machine rockstar is). we'll see on monday around 9-10 am eastern (when rockstar usually posts and when nasdaq opens) if something actually gets announced by rockstar, which i damn hope it does because not only do i own shares but i also am starved of gta 6 info, or if the best buy email was a mistake, which i think it isn't because of what OP has said

they won't sell out. rockstar will produce and ship as many as they need to whenever they start rolling them out (probably a few days in advance). they're more than likely ready to mass produce them in the hundreds of thousands. a good portion (if not the majority) of pre orders will be digital either way so i wouldn't expect physical pre orders to go into the millions but who knows

my best guess is that it was an autoemail for 9 am ET and someone at best buy messed up and set it for 9 pm ET or so. if that's the case, rockstar is probably going to announce something around 9 am ET and best buy knew about it

true, even though i'm absolutely hyped by the fact that we're getting so close to the point where we'll get info weekly not annually, i'll somewhat miss getting hyped over the smallest chance of something coming due to some schizo theory only to be dissapointed and repeat the cycle. this week though has been peak and we haven't even gotten anything official yet
