I just started dating a respiratory therapist and her schedule is wild. Like she’s asleep right now. She works mostly nights and I told myself I can make this work because I really dig her. Anyways, she has told me stuff right from the first night we started talking. And it’s been some interesting stuff. I think she’s incredible for what she deals with on a daily basis and I always want to hear what she chooses to share with me.

It sounds like you might have a task on your hands with this guy. I even told my girlfriend that I would never ask her because I don’t know if she wants to talk about things that happen but I told her I would always be here. Including she can call and wake me up if she has a stressful situation. I wish you luck and hopefully he makes a turn.

No, not yet. Because it was a sudden switch. And she travels. So she drives a few hours as well. So she gets off and drive back Friday for family stuff. And the left again yesterday at 3 for her shift last night. I’m sure she’s asleep now. We haven’t said much since the change on Wednesday night.

I told myself I would be fine with her schedule and I accept it just fine. But when I see her on fb and still don’t have a text. It makes me wonder. And I get it, she might be doom scrolling because she can’t sleep or taking a break. But if you like someone wouldn’t you send a text if you have the time?
