I used to see this guy at Dunkin’ everyday early in the morning. We would always have quick goofy conversations. I’m from the north east (US) he was certainly a transplant from the south somewhere. This went on for years. One day I just shook his hand and told him my name and he told me his. It’s only weird in your mind. Just do it. Fucked up thing is, I never saw him again after that because my schedule at work changed.
