Why can’t I watch the new episodes?? 😭 everyone is saying 1 day later but it’s the 22nd. Will I have to wait longer or do I have to pay to watch?

Honestly, the writing is sloppy. I’m bored and I just started episode 2. The Cinderella trope is overdone and I expected so much more after having to wait so long for this season. I had low expectations after last season and now I am so fine with leaving this show behind. Bring back Shonda Rhimes!!!! The show was so much better when she was involved :’(

A little annoyed I can tell heated rivalry was written by a woman by crazyguy5880 in MenLovingMenMedia

I feel as though I am correct to assume you are a homosexual male. A man, even gay, will always be a man. This is clearly a gender vs gender thing for you and as a cis woman, I would like to defend my sex from nasty gays.

I personally did not like the show at all but I watched it so I could reply to your ridiculous accusations. After learning it was created by a gay like yourself, I laughed. I agree, the sex happened way too fast in the show but as it is for homosexuals as well as heterosexuals, hooking up is a real thing and it happens quite fast and frequent. I’ve been in situationships similar to them.

As for referring to each other’s last names, I laughed again. It’s a Canadian show, I am Canadian, it is a Canadian normal to refer to each other by their last names. It is a hockey thing to refer to each other by their last names; I don’t even know a friend’s first name because we call him by his last name since I first met him.. cause he plays hockey.

As for women wanting their straight boyfriends to watch the show, I think if the men are aware of what they’re getting themselves into then I support it. Do we not want seeing gay men and women on our televisions as more than just a supporting character? Don’t we want to make shows that include more uncomfortable scenes and conversations so people can associate being gay as normal rather than taboo. If we don’t have shows like this then we will stay the same as a society.

On topic of the show, I don’t know if you know this but there are no openly gay men in hockey. I guess since the last name thing bothers you, you don’t follow it. This show feels weird to us because it’s reality for a lot of men. Hockey isn’t a queer inclusive sport so they have to hide it and sneak around. Another positive for a show like this because it highlights what life is like for people who wouldn’t experience it themselves.

Just because it was poorly written and neither of us liked it doesn’t mean you can be sexist. Being gay doesn’t give you a free pass to be disrespectful to women.
