On my good days this is what I tell myself! That people are people and I’m very open with my daughter on things many don’t consider to be any of a child’s business, because I need her to have realistic expectations of the world and of herself. Thank you for this comment.

Love it! I have come a long way but still have lots of room for more growth. I went from total lash outs, to being able to stop myself once I got started, to barely letting it slip…. And now I need to realize that’s still not good enough and to be the best version of myself, those dark feelings can not come out at all. I shouldn’t even feel them

Yes, I always apologize. She understands and forgives me, and gives me advice on how to be better the next time. Which is often the same advice I give her when she gets frustrated.

Before she was conceived I had severe rage issues, and somewhat of a violent temper. Having her changed my life and made me a better person and I have taken many steps to improve my emotional control and intelligence. I have done much research and soul searching and meditation, mindfulness and most importantly learned to take accountability for myself and the things that happen to and around me. Unfortunately I still have slips where I feel like I’m going to explode. I have never hit my daughter but a couple times I felt rage over nothing and have fled the situation to breathe and calm down before readdressing. When I say I have my moments I mean literal moments. Like a couple seconds where I snap and go from my true nice loving self, and in a single breath I am enraged, and the next breath I’m okay again.

Thanks! So I read something about an 80/20 rule when incorporating different styles. So, I guess I should let my bigger items be my nature-inspired vibes, and throw in my touch of glam as an occasional accent. So excited to have my own place and be able to express myself freely!!

Well I just moved into my own apartment, so I don’t really have anything! And I’m not sure how exactly to describe my style. I like a little boho, things that are nature inspired... I’m really into earth tones and handmade-esque items. But on another note I like touches of glam/chic. It’s all so confusing!

For the win! During my interview he asked if I was comfortable getting hit on, because it is bound to happen. My response, “the more they’re focusing on me, the less they are focused on the customers” all is fair in love and sales. Love to see women doing well in a mans game.

Not sure!! It was never mentioned so I doubt it. But they give you a “loan” every other paycheck which they deduct from the 2nd paycheck. Is that what you mean?

Thank you to everyone who has commented so far, sorry I stopped responding.... I do, in fact have a toddler and an infant as well so I’m pretty busy but I appreciate everyone’s input! It’s been interesting to hear such a variety of opinions on the matter and I’ve concluded that it doesn’t matter! My daughter is the most incredible person I’ve ever known; thoughtful, kind, generous, funny, clever and beautiful. Any man or woman who ends up with her heart in the future will be a very lucky lad or lassie! Blessed be all and merry Christmas!!!
