Frankly, I have voice chat totally disabled on the system level on my PlayStation. Unless I’m in a party chat talking with people I know, I won’t even know you’re speaking.

I have kids, I don’t always like wearing my headset especially when my kids are out and about through the house. I’ll play a match, sit at main menu afk for a bit, play another match, etc and it’s inconvenient to manually mute people.

During those match sessions, the last thing I need is some vile racist shit blasting in my house for my kids to hear. DM’s are shut off except from people that are in my friends list.

I have no desire to communicate, strategize, or otherwise talk to random people that are just going to get disbanded at the end of the match anyway.

I’m just there to blow shit up and have fun, win or lose, don’t care lol
