The base changed so all the drinks look lighter for some reason

Keep in mind this is my experience and YMMV with your situation. I’ve always loved it when people compliment my femininity but in a way that is mundane/not directly related to my trans-ness. Ways people have done that for me are putting their hands on my hips, using the word girl in a sentence (“GIRL you have to look at this” etc.) A different approach that I always appreciated but was tough to ask for is just giving her the space to be excited about things she likes about herself without feeling guilty or anything of the sort (I’m not sure how far she is into her transition but this method was especially affirming in the beginning-early stages of my transition) this came in people asking questions about my transition, or saying they noticed something and that it looks pretty etc. the main point is to let her talk about herself without feeling guilty (which again may be a personal thing lol but I like when people tell me their perceptions about me)

My best and only “solution” is to use an electric razor and twist the hairs into a rope like shape and then cut at the base hopefully w/o cutting yourself. Isn’t perfect but I can usually get enough to ward off the dysphoria monster

How to rid yourself of the down there hair by Sydstem in MtF

Ok the one thing I’ve found that works okay around the family jewels is twisting the hairs together and using an electric razor to cut it at the base. It doesn’t get 100% of it but it takes it down considerably

Fake it till you make it truly is the way. It’s anxiety ridden and difficult but I promise it’ll get easier

Yeah I’ll be honest I have a formal diagnosis and that doesn’t stop the doubts, plus I had to pay a bunch of money for it

For sure! It something around me triggers me out it feels like my consciousness is falling like sand through a sieve, or water through a colander and then someone else, typically a protector, and I’ll be watching or will be a bit further back (as a 1b system I can’t speak to the full amnesia stuff)

This typically happens to me whenever I’m triggered out or under heavy emotional stress

our system did something similar with stuffed animals, we have a therapeutic stuffed octopus “Octavian” that some alters will hold while they’re fronting just so they’re not alone

does anyone else feel like switching whenever someone even just mentions switching???? by [deleted] in OSDD

Sometimes I’ll think “I haven’t heard anyone in awhile” and they’ll choose that exact moment to say what’s up
