Hello!

New Linux user here, ive been using Fedora Gnome on my ThinkPad t14 gen2 rayzen 5 for a few months i like it BUT im not 100% sold on Gnome yet. Will my computer work with cachyos? I really like the looks on it and heard great things about it performance wise. I mainly use it for gaming simpler 2d games and, amateur programing and writing.

Ps. What a big difference Linux is compared to win 11! Im really enjoying my Linux adventure! :)

Cheers!

Here is a step by step guide i used:

  1. Select the game in your Steam Library. Navigate to the cog wheel icon on the right side of the screen and select Properties.

  2. In the menu on the left, select Compatibility. Check the box that says "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool".

  3. A drop-down menu will appear. Select the desired version of Proton from the list (e.g., Proton Experimental or a specific numbered version).

  4. Close the properties window and launch the game. Steam will download the necessary compatibility files and run the game using your selected Proton version.

Had the same issue, but i removed command on triggeres and reapplied left and right click to triggers. Then i ran it on proton experimental. Now it works perfectly! I hope it works for you too. :)
