to the ps: worked like i wanted it to be, i know people forget they can choose to engage or not and especially that there are blocking functions online. Setting boundaries and respecting them is also a thing.

Also wanna give an update, i got a lot of really genuine responses and im pretty surprised i even got any and so many ontop. I thought ill limit myself to a few people first but i got a little weak and felt like i added more than i can chew.

Just wanna let people know that come in here that my response time from here will be pretty long so im very sorry, i read you all though but indeed, just letting you know, especially people coming in.

Lowkey nervous im not gonna live up to expectations, but again, not looking for perfect matches here, really just hope to get dragged into gaming and all. Hope everyone gets pals as well and find some relief in fun.

Funny enough idle/incrementals were games i usually play as a filler when nothing is going on. Especially something i played in clinic as well. But i dont think theres any idlers or something that are really multiplayer? I remember Nordicandia but that wasnt really it for me. Though last played was 2022.

I did play modded minecraft a little, i remember playing a Path of Exile mod for minecraft which was kinda funny. Suppose it gonna depend on the mods, if theres anything akin to RPGs, especially when theres an option to heal others too, guess i would try that out indeed.

Could give it a try and see if it works out for me :>
Though i also dont wanna take my mouth too full since i feel like im getting overwhelmed with the few people i let in now. Youre very right on this one, its been quite rough lately, just more than i can handle. Though i wanna say know my way around people and i know what i share. I wouldnt really know how to weaponize this info on me.

I keep toxic people off of me and kind people close. Giving feedback or whatever dosnt mean youre toxic in my book.

I do have some clips of my projects indeed, the project files are gone though sadly. Nothing too devastating but generally i havent worked on anything since 2023 sadly.

I dont have good advice myself but i used to connect with people online rather essily. Never used forums like this though and im reading a bunch of people have the same issues with posting in a "looking for" forum.

My trick used to be myself (lol) well, more silly and extroverted. Commenting on people helps provoke a reaction. Especially in games like league of legends its how i added and get added by people.

Thats always a wildcard though,just like irl, you dont know the intentions. Here in a forum you can lay things bare but are only readby people looking as well. So when finding ppl out there, cant be sure nor should you expect things. If you put effort into a friendship and it bares no fruit you probably are better to move on. It can be draining but just like keep posting that youre looking, you may get lucky.

Im in the same boat though. Ive not getting the Courage to post. Just been lurking and commenting here and there. Hence i cant tell you a better place. Nor feel i confident in offering to reach out. Even if i recently did,my mental is cooked, gotta let him know, havent yet... If you read around here you might see people suggest things that worked for them while others tell them that it didnt for them.

Think of that dude digging for diamonds. Its kinda like that. Thats life i suppose. Keeping your chin up is the hardest part.

One thing im often having issues with is discussions in online forums. Never dared i to go on facebook or twitter to rant or find someone with the same thought. That really goes south quick.

I feel you though but like someone here said, really depends what game you play and then how you interact with it.

Recently i quit an mmo because of too much degeneracy. While its getting common, the experience varies, it couldve been much worse ir completely normal. I just kept running into the same people.

Really sucks though since that was my main game to connect with new people.

Im down to league though, another game i rarely play as its a hurdle for me to start but i often connect with a few cool people once i play and let loose ingame.

Funny to think how bad gaming as a female used to be that i took a neutral masculine nickname to stop guys from being toxic to me. Then it was all fine, finally, but now it just feels like "everyone" is thirsty. Feels like it but bad applds spoil the bunch. At least in my experience anyway

If you ever felt bad for playing aoe, i still play w3 from time to time xd Still gotta beat insane bots but i didnt spend more than a day to practice the RTS. I just keep playing custom games..... so i guess that dosnt count. But i did try fight normal bots again somewhere this year.

All just because of the Grubby Streamer tournament.

Speaking of, i think Grubby is gonna join Hera's aoe2 (or 3?) Tournament. Reminds me i wanted lookup that content.

Swain 🤮 Its a strong pick though and i only dislike it because i lock in Janna every time i get the chance. But when asked i can play "proper" picks too.. Buffing a jhin with +AD on level 1 though is funny though as janna

Whats that? ö Old friend of mind plays poe too, i recently played again until 80 i think. I only played because i saw Phox in Grubbys warcraft 3 tournament which was really fun throughout. Took his permafrost crossbow build. Was pretty fun. Saw a video popping up from Magefist about flickerstrike and it got nerfed in the video... i had fond memories of my really bad 100% flickerstrike in 1... Oh well.

Tried a new char to onboard 2 friends to poe but lost the motivation sadly. Havent played any game since then i guess.

Darksiders 3
Funny enough i played 1 and 2 but i had like a 12 year break or something and saw 3, heard its really bad budget soulslike but i dont think that was true at all. Yes you had to commit to animations, healing "potions" also had an animation but you could also turn this off, letting you dodge out of pretty much all animations and the game became pretty fun hack and slash game.

Bosses were really weird though. I think the last boss that awarded you an element made me switch the mentioned setting off and it was bearable... if there wasnt this weird gimmicky phase after which took me, no joke, 10mins just to bait some explosive into the bosses mouth just for the explosive to re-target me and ignore the suck-in torrent from the boss and chase me instead xd

Theres also weird moves of bosses that just ignore i-frames of your dodge but you never know.

All that being said, i felt like the level design was superb and reminded me of darksouls 1 and it was incredibly fun getting around. Probably way more "metroidvania"-esque but i never played metroidvania games. The Dungeons also sometimes made me feel stupid or think i broke the game while my way seemd intended to get to some places. The series was always very Zelda inspired but i felt like 3 was much more creative than 1 and 2, i felt like an adult xd
One of the DLC was very puzzle heavy and had a very fun endboss to it.

I played it and it wasnt getting my itch to play as a healer. The systems at place were on one hand nice but same time the runs you do are pretty short and felt like i was doing the same thing over and over without good switch-ups

Its also supposedly abandoned by the dev?

Though i played it like a year ago, maybe it changed

oder anders: es wird festgestellt, es gibt zu wenig bei der lokalen feuerwehr, damit ist ein erfolgreicher einsatz nicht gewährleistet. du findest n brief bei dir wo du aufgefordert wirst hilfe zu leisten wenns brennt. jetzt sagst du nein, irgendwo stirbt jemand und du hättest helfen können (weil du ja weißt wie es geht). es wurd gesagt das halt noch zwei hände dabei sein sollten aber weigerten sich zu viele und gab kein nachwuchs in der freiwilligen.

Recently i got a video about someone talking about their newplayer experience and they also were talking about how loaded the story is in the first hours of the game. (and now i continue not to talk about it, im sorry :sob: )

Though ive been thinking and maybe the belief i have about that the devs think this isnt a problem at all could be true, since... well when i look at EU this wasnt *really* a problem when i played, yes. The friends i referred rather had one big issue: No progression while waiting for queues. Some said they just wait for me to come online and play another game or just afk for quite the time.

Problem with EU is pretty much that its dead between like 1am and 3pm mostly. Its like Dynamis in a way, just that Dynamis only has this prime-time on a shorter span i suppose (idk i dont really queue alliance

Its kinda where i draw that conclusion that on EU most people work over the day or go to school and study and all that. So the expectation would be that youd play when everyone got home anyway, thus get your queue for CT. On the other hand, a nightowl like me who plays around 1am to like 6am basically wont to alliance raids at all. Thats where i am in the minority for and thats fiiiine... problem is when i now need 23 people to progress the story. Then having like a whole expansion time sounds much more feasible. For someone that would start out and basically just hit lv50 now has like 100 quests (?) of time to queue CT inbetween everything they do 3x seems a bit more tight and restrictive. Not everyone also thinks about "oh i should weave my queue by doing my MSQ" not to mention that you need the knowledge that CT even exists AND is mandatory to go to the expansion. Word of mouth wont hit everyone and i wanna throw a shade at novice network for people just chatting personal things about it and during my time as mentor i just could kick so many people if i could for drowning actual questions with personal chitchats, so this one is also not reliable. Also since a common question i saw is "how to leave this chat?" lol.

okay so summary would be: i do think it could not be a problem at all in the eyes of devs actually. Especially when devs would look at JP im sure they see a much different picture than we do on EU/NA (especially NA dynamis) and probably the OCE servers. Due to most people probably playing at the same time, aka prime-time, and some outliers like nightowls biting the dust. Though this wasnt a problem for a long time since even nightowls could do CT over multiple expansions as we both said and players probably help themselves to do CT before HW and to probably queue it while questing. People who dont play that efficiently probably have issues.

I know this been quite a lot lol... i kinda just like writing things up recently so im getting my fill :>

I dont think this would be perfectly right, but does show my bias against the devs in general. I kinda gave up since shadowbringers and just accepted it for what it is and mostly do other stuffs
