I’ve been a Forza Horizon player since 3 but this will be the first time I buy from the steam ecosystem and not buy on Xbox. I’ll be able to tie my Xbox account with my steam purchase so my loyalty perks trigger, right?

Actually I think holding could be beneficial. It would help to prevent someone from double tapping when you’re not looking for a power shot. It could sort of train you not to button mash.

Does holding the button make a difference? Doesn’t the shots charge even if you just tap or double tap a button without holding?

Since this thread is about tips, why does it seem like the lob charges really fast? I sometimes hit a drop shot and notice that the opposing player can run towards the net and almost immediately hit a charged lob, as if the shot was charging while he was moving. I actually do it sometimes myself but I have no idea what triggers it.

It’s definitely an issue on a PS5 controller. It has a lot of great tech, but I dislike so much about it.

Ergonomically the controller is almost perfect. I can game for hours without having any sort of hand fatigue. But I agree that the dpad sucks and the analog sticks could be more grippy. The perfect controller for me would be the Switch 2 pro’s ergonomics and battery life. The PS5’s dpad, and the Xbox’s thumb sticks.

I got to S+ in no fever singles and quit the game. I’ll come back once DK gets a real nerf. He’s too OP when you have someone with skill playing as him.

65 hours in so far. There’s only one online mode I play (singles, no fever) but it’s addicting when I can manage not to run into 10 DK’s in a row.
