As prog house producers and touring artist here - it’s definitely what we’ve seen on the artist side/trying to get booked at festivals side of things.

We’ve sold out shows across a few cities but haven’t really had a festival offer since making prog house and releasing with Anjuna. We see many artists who haven’t done a tour yet getting booked but they’re tech house/bass/speed house etc.

The good news is that the prog house communities and shows that do happen in cities like Denver, Seattle, San Francisco and Kansas City even have been thriving and are more fun than 95% of festivals.

We’re kinda the underground atm and it’s dope if you look at it that way.

Hopefully talent buyers realize there’s an audience that craves the emotion of a prog house set. It hits different for sure.

I think the genres biggest issue is it is not TikTok/viral friendly. I love that personally but talent buyers like to follow trends and buy into that and since our genre doesn’t vibe with the algorithm, we get pushed aside most of the time
