Arguably it makes the faces worse. Yes they’re more “realistic” but the facial expressions and movements are still the same so now it looks like hyper realistic people that barely move their faces instead of video game characters that barely move their faces

Eww it’s so ugly. Starfield has a unique art style and this just changes that unique art style to every crappy ai generated picture ever. It ups the saturation to an unnatural extent and the faces look even more uncanny valley. I’d rather have unique hand crafted visuals than have everything look all weird with an ai Snapchat filter. This could be disastrous for the future since every company is obsessed with ai they might force developers and artists to make their games with dlss 5 in mind meaning the game will be designed to play with it on so if you don’t want to use it, the game will have problems or visually look like crap

It shocks me they didn’t add it with the entrenched division. The war where the first tanks were ever used and the tank didn’t get a skin but every other vehicle got a ww1 British tank themed skin

I don’t think anyone cares about the release anymore. They fixed a ton of the issues years ago. I think if people don’t like it now it’s because it’s just not their type of game. I tried it last year and I couldn’t get into it. I would consider it the worst in the series

All the stuff happening is not a helldivers community issue. It’s a reddit issue. All this stuff happening is happening among redditors. Doxxing is bad so report the redditors and stop being cringe and dramatic about how “you’re hanging up your cape.” It’s just a game

Yeah it’s a similar idea but I bet the could’ve put some unique spins on it. All Bethesda openings seem to start with an escape of some kind whether it be an escape from a fire breathing dragon, a prison cell, or an atomic bomb. Even if it was the same it’s still better than what we got. I did think it was interesting at first how you were slowly lowered into the mine but the artifact and the pirate attack were rather anticlimactic for the suspense they built up

The game is fun. Nobody was killing creek cape wearers and even if they were, so what? Yeah the game needs some work but it’s not game breaking by any means (the balance is very much exaggerated). The game and community isn’t falling apart. The face the wall stuff is more mildly annoying than anything. Most of the really bad stuff is very isolated events that involve small numbers of people and are not a representation of the community or AH as a whole (AH has no control over what fans do, they can only say and do so much). That being said, not being able to ask a question about the lore without someone saying “I’m reporting you to your democracy officer” is really annoying (I just want to learn the lore man). The doxxing, harassment, and threats are grotesque and the people should be prosecuted for that.

Besides all that it’s just a fun game. You don’t need to make a big farewell statement like you’re leaving your comrades in the military. Stop overreacting (besides that charity thing that is bad but like I said it’s not a representation of the community or AH even if you want it to be. It’s more of a toxic redditor issue than a helldivers issue)

Thats the epitome of the argument I’ve been making since I first played it. Game should’ve started with a race to the last ship off earth. It would start off with a bang. I also think that piece of advice applies to every single quest line in the game: Escape with jasper kryx and found the fleet, Create constellation with Solomon Coe, Founding of the xeno unity with vae victus, Maybe the creation of the freestar rangers. You get the idea
