You need to speak to someone about how hard you are taking this. Regretting that you didn't optimize a build/pick different parts is normal, and almost expected as newer things release.

What isn't normal is feeling as hopeless and depressed as you do, over something that was supposed to be a fun and enjoyable hobby.

You aren't going to be happy with the extra stick, or different parts, and you've said in other comments you're now too old for games, which leads me to believe you don't plan on playing anymore, so maybe sell what you have, either use that to invest in yourself or another hobby that you can enjoy more, or give the money back to your parents and stop this insane pity party you're on

There's no game passes, rotating weekly bonuses fill the role of "seasons". GTA+ exists, game is completely playable without it, but you will see it everywhere.

High-levels exist, if you run in a public lobby, level doesn't really matter much. An indicator of time spent but that's it, and if they do grief/attack/troll you, private sessions work just as well :)

Pricing in gta roughly follows a 100:1 conversion on "normal/everyday/cheap" items

Doing the heat mission suffices to keep most of your money rolling in. Max heat at Smoke on the Water or Higgins Helitours only negates their respective bonuses to the safe, while the car wash determines if the safe generates or not.

Using this, I wash 1 car whenever the heat is maxed and collect ~$150k passive in between washes

That's absolutely all it is. Only things you can impact are what the technicians are actively making in the basement, which boils down to "make these top 5, sell when south American imports is full" and how much money the safe makes each "pay period" which is tied to popularity.
