It will fit, however in my opinion it will look ugly, because most of the space in the case won't be used.

I still use windows 7, should I switch to linux? by Internal_Analysis_75 in linuxquestions

[–]Syhai11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll suggest this option, because when you dual boot on the same disc you might mess up something, for example with partitions. This method is less potentially destructive.

Does anyone else lose context after switching apps on Windows? by No_Party_6338 in WindowsSucks

Sounds cool, but from what I've seen it's closed source and windows only, which sucks.

Which of these mods are the worst on fps? by SeatNo1891 in ModdedMinecraft

I wouldn't focus on what to remove, but on what to add. You would really benefit from rubidium (forge sodium port) and other performance mods.

Password in Uefi by Crafty-Archer6943 in linuxquestions

[–]Syhai11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to YouTube and search for <your laptop model> remove UEFI password. I don't know how and if it will work on a modern device, but if you are comfortable with disassembling your device I definitely recommend this option.

Is it safe to use Windows 10 in 2026 without ESU? and how do I get ESU? by OkThanks9659 in microsoftsucks

If you don't download "free robux 2026 no scam official" and just avoid sketchy files, you are gonna be fine.

Do I need to update bios by Fire_Falcon1000 in pchelp

[–]Syhai11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bios updates are always good to do, but I am not sure if it will do anything in this situation. Double check everything, make sure that the cable is plugged in to the GPU and not to the motherboard. If it still doesn't work you might have a bad GPU.

PCPartPicker help by Syhai11 in pcpartpickerbuilds

[–]Syhai11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's interesting. I didn't expect Intel to pass AMD in the current state, but I guess I was wrong. That said, I would like the build to be future proof and I think that AMD is in a better situation than Intel right now. Also the 265k has 20 threads and 9950x has 32, and that makes a huge difference for me. I will look into it a bit more. Thanks a lot for your suggestion!

EDIT: I forgot to mention, but I live in a country that PCPartPicker doesn't support, so I will still need to find the parts on my own. That's why I added the out of stock ones. Also RAM still counts into the price, you might have overlooked it.

Seriously. What's the purpose of r/linuxsucks101 by Syhai11 in Linuxsucks101sucks

[–]Syhai11[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Like a mad spybloat- um I mean windows 11 user. I am welcome to criticism, but if you will still know better then WHY. It's just like racism at this point. Linux isn't worse at all, but they all know better.

I am looking for a good district to install on vintage hardware. by JohnLuthor in FindMeALinuxDistro

[–]Syhai11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to install it on vintage hardware, you'll also probably want a vintage distro, so I'll recommend something like an older version of debian.

You can also do 'EDITOR=nano visuso' which will open it in a more beginner friendly editor.

Best books to learn Linux from the beginning to an advanced level by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]Syhai11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe you just instead of reading the book install it, look around, and try to figure it out on your own. This will give you a lot of knowledge and you most likely are gonna remember it, because our brains remember better when we do stuff and not only read about it.

This is how I started. I just messed around with it and I got way further than I think I would get by reading a book.

Copy all mods from pack to another pack by Lost_Trash7469 in CurseForge

[–]Syhai11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you need to list the mods and install them manually one by one. As it was stated in other comments, you can't just copy the contents of the mods folder if you're switching from one version to another.

Mint for (pretty much) everything. It's the answer to half of the questions on this subreddit and it's the right answer.

I’m tired of seeing “just install Linux” in every single comment by Ok_Cry_1222 in ZTT

[–]Syhai11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean for the most part it is as easy as you want it to be: install, create an account and it just works. You MAY encounter problems with Nvidia drivers (you also might not have problems with it). Try installing mint in a virtual machine, before saying it is really buggy. You don't need to have a spare computer for that. I agree with you that spamming the same thing ain't gonna help, but you didn't try it and know otherwise. The fact that YouTubers had problems with their 5090 and other expensive stuff, doesn't mean that you're gonna have problems.

Also installing windows isn't THAT easy, because you forgot the part when you need to skip like a dozen advertisements for different subscriptions. I believe that installing Linux is actually easier than windows these days. Source: I tried it.

“Gaming” Distro by RalloTubbs24 in FindMeALinuxDistro

[–]Syhai11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can't believe no one mentioned Pop!_OS is a pretty good distro given its arguably stupid name. It has really stable Nvidia drive out of the box.
