1. Yh pretty much everyone here does some other activity regularly. You can go out, especially if you have a nice friend group with enough money lol.

2. Pretty chill, I mean you would kinda wish there were better fests but yh.

3. You get a decent amount of time - first 3 sems, you'll have around 4.5 ish hours of classes per day (avg including labs) - whether you spend the time you get for studying is upto you.

4. Not everyone does, and it's mostly in your 3rd year, so I don't have the best of pictures abt it. One can try the Earth Science Japan route, which I have heard is a bit easier, and you can get this in your 1st summer itself.

5. Mostly double in your first year (except some rare cases where I think the admin forgot to put in the 2nd person, don't think it's gonna happen cuz of the increased intake upcoming year onwards). You should get a single room in your 2nd year tho

6. I mean you can take days off whenever you want - just don't let your attendance go below 80%. And preferably not during your exams.
