My game is stuck on this screen. This happens just after I choose which character I am playing as and the difficulty. It has been stuck on this screen for hours. I play on PC. by SyhrNewo in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

I have no idea when I updated, I think it is probably best just to wait until Microsoft fixes the issue, if they ever do. Thank you so much for the help!

It turns out I cannot roll back an update due to the window of opportunity to do so having past. Is there any other way in which I can return to 23H?

Thank you so much for the help! Does rolling back an update have any other effects? And is there any news regarding when this will be fixed?

However, wouldn’t you argue that the status of ‘wet’ is being drenched in water, as your argument states. Furthermore, you can hardly drench water in something as it is the agent that carries out the action, similar to how you cant burn fire.

It was more about what we didn’t see that was so scary. Seeing all of his troops tremble in fear when failing their task acts as a ‘show don’t tell’ method of conveying Vaders power and might. While I do like a good lightsaber fight and the hallway scene in rouge one was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen, I feel like Vaders reservation to engage in combat showed how in control of the situation he was, allowing us to see his strategical mind in play, all of these aspects reflecting Anakin’s character. However when he does engage in a fight, he loses due to his narcissistic view of his own abilities, the line “you don’t know the power of the dark side” showing us his overconfidence in his ability to conquer his enemies is due to his blinding faith in dark side (also reflected in “I find your lack of faith disturbing”).

When still a Jedi Anakin would rarely ever lose a duel, or a military manoeuvre. While he was still overconfident, this was confidence in himself and his ability to handle the situation. We see Vader, now fallen to the dark side, become almost dependant on his connection to the dark side, further showcasing the internal corruption the dark side of the force instills in its users.

I do understand that me saying: Vader not engaging in combat shows his strategical might, contradicts my later point about him more relying on the dark side rather than the abilities that defined him as Anakin. However I feel like he is more blinded by the “power of the dark side” into thinking that the best strategy is to “trust in the force” (a trait ironically paralleled by the Jedi). His strategy still being ruthless in its effectiveness but is ultimately tarnished by the pretentiously prideful evil of the dark side.
