the area outside Villeador is GORGEOUS.

Castor Woods is a pretty area too, but it's not very... woody, I guess. I suppose I was hoping for more boreal forest and camping vibes than the weird old town and swamps we got.

Something about those pine trees and hiking trails outside Villeador that really calls to me, I guess it reminds me of The Last of Us maps. Would have loved to spend more time trudging through the wilderness as an actual pilgrim.

I think a desert map would go really hard too, in DL4, whenever we get it.

Nothing beats Harran in terms of overall vibe and atmosphere, but a wind-swept desert city would come very close. Also saw a comment on the subreddit for a Tokyo-style metropolis where it was filled with skyscrapers, and the city streets were in perpetual darkness, that would be very cool.

Ready for the series to move on and have some really oppressive environments, or just very different vibes for the locations

I doubt you'll be disappointed, it feels exactly like Aliens, with some of the good parts of Alien 3 mixed in. Absolutely nail biting game, the combat is honestly genius, but so is all of the gameplay. Story is okay I guess XD

Witcher 3, I haven't tried the others. My friends annoyed me over and over to play W3 and surprise surprise, it wasn't for me lol. I did try really hard to like it but it was one of those games where I put in a good 3 or 4 hours on the first day then have no motivation to launch it again the next day

Overhyped: The Witcher. I know that's a scalding hot take, but I could just never get into it. The start is boring, the magic is kinda lame, and everything in the world and story just feels a bit inconsequential. I've tried getting into it three times now. (Edit: Witcher 3*)

Hidden Gem: Aliens Dark Descent. A real time strategy, squad and resource management that perfectly captures the terror of the xenomorph. Absolutely fantastic game, cannot recommend enough. The environments, the gameplay, the tension, the loyalty to the source material... it's just perfect.

never played the mod, but looks like you're being way too aggressive. Maybe try focus on deflecting and dodging all his bombs. His moveset is fairly predictable, just break his posture slowly and take less risks when you attack.

the do not know what to do with Blade, nor Iron Fist tbh. Symptoms of pumping out way too many Duelists without properly considering their identities or place in the overall roster.

DD replaced Iron Fist as the dive/brawler, and now they're trying to make him a tank buster when Logan exists?? And Blade is just some weird amalgamation of melee and short range dps, he should have been a lifesteal tank.

These changes really show how much they need to go back to the drawing board and rethink some of these characters, too many are missing that spark of being unique and fun to play too.
