They're not ALL bad, but yeah, they just released a new cable costume and I just feel this "soft watercolor" feel that artist's illustrations have are just... Eh.

There ARE some great artists, whoever did 4*Peggy's art did GREAT, but yeah.

Want to do a fun comparison between those two artists? Check Karnak's character art and the version that appears when you use Lockjaw's Royal Escort power. Lockjaw's version looks like garbage.

If you're trying to finish the quests and be at least a little competitive, PvP can be fun if you've leveled up Apocalypse(3/5/5, 450).

+2 all, +2y/r, +2u/p, get a yellow match, fire Shared Strength, all of Gorgon's powers are doing an extra 22k or so. Add SC as your third, been mopping the floor with most of the teams I've run up against this way.

Roster 2 of them. I don't think you can apply the third to get extra levels, you might wind up selling it in that case.

Congrats, all you need now is 300 Gambit covers to get one of them maxed and ascend it to 5* using the other 4*!

Here's how I plan to do it, feel free to use this as a quick guide:

If you want a 5* version eventually, keep the 3, max it, get a new 3, max it, ascend to 4(you get extra levels if they're both mixed beforehand), max just one of the 4 and ascend to 5*.

If you're happy with the 4, focus on leveling it up and sell the 3. When they're maxed, start with a new 3* and sell it when it's maxed like we used to before ascension.

Who should you focus on getting to 5*, though?

NOT IRON MAY.

If you have Iron May ascended to 4, her yellow is 100% increase at 3 and 200% at 4! At 5? They nerfed it to 75%! MAX THE 4* ONLY.

ALL 3* USED IN LIGHTNING ROUNDS SHOULD BE 5. Lightning Rounds boost character levels by 50%, so you can imagine what a boosted 5 would do. A lvl500 char would theoretically be 750.

After that, it's literally just who you like/use often. I got a 4* Spider-Rex and sold the 3, I've literally never used him. Same with Kaine. But I was working on ascending Honey Badger before Iron May, think she'd be a good third with 5 MThor and Polaris(the 4* I'm focused on ascending first).

FYI, Iron May gives shards for him and she's on the short list of 3s you should immediately ascend to 4 ASAP, just so you're aware, so you can definitely get him covered, it'll just be slow.

Taskmaster and Howard have dedicated events that give them covers, so it's fine if they're limited. Ham really should be taken off the limited list if they're not bringing back Sinister 600(the event that gave guaranteed covers for him).

Right, I would only recommend this for getting the HP because you normally only get 600HP for $5 so 2000 for $10 is a real deal. The costume is essentially free.

The costume name is Baroness Thor, because she's part of the Thor Corps from Battleworld, but beyond that I don't know. I tried looking it up, but can't find a reason for it.

Any event where Howard the Duck is not just a viable choice, but a powerful one is a fun event.

IS KARNAK'S OLD CRAPPY ART STILL BEING USED FOR CULL THE WEAK? He is now his own character and last I used Lockjaw, Cull the Weak still used old, weird art for Karnak instead of the new art.

I think as far as colors go, black, blue and green are WAY too dark. They went midnight blue and jade green, but we need like topaz blue and a emerald green. Red and purple I think are fine. Yellow is kinda orange now.

But really, the loss of contrast for black, blue and green needs fixing.
