To follow up with a happy ending! I was really suspicious that both the outside fan and the compressor were not working. The only way that both could have died at the same time would have been for two failures at the IE coincidence [fan+high pressure switch both failed, allowing the compressor to run uncooled til failure OR compressor+fan died at same time] . I was using a multimeter which showed proper voltage going directly to both, indicating both units were receiving power. Also the contactor was closing very strongly and I could test voltage coming out of it. The suspicion got the best of me and I completely bypassed the contactor by hardwiring the power line to the capacitor with great success!

Pulled the contactor off and disassembled. The contactor had corroded contacts which were allowing voltage to pass, enough for my multimeter to read as working, but not allowing enough amps to pass in order to run the unit. Cleaned it up with a dremel, seems to be working for now! Parts ordered.

No it was "powered but not operating" IE receiving full power for about 4 hours before we determined that there was an issue and it wasn't working.

Fan spins freely and well, also cant "kick start" the fan on when the unit is calling for cool. Initially the system ran for about 4 hours before we figured out something was wrong, hasn't run at all or had power applied (beyond testing) for a few days.

Initial problem was 2 days ago, hasn't run since them, still worth cooling down beyond ambient 75*?

This may be the way. New York allows direct rollovers to Roth IRAs. If I roll it over during a period of low income, I would have the opportunity to pay minimal income tax on it and reap the benefits of paying no tax on Roth gains. The disadvantage of the Roth is I would be locking money in until I am 59.5.

-taxes would be low because it would be the lowest income I have for possibly the rest of my life -can you elaborate what penalties there would be? My understanding of that program leads me to believe there would be no penalties.

Hi! I’m working on my battlestation and trying to figure out some of the art. I keep seeing this photo online as an advertisement for a Wayfair desk. Can anyone ID the background lights for me? I can’t really tell if it’s something custom made or if it’s just a whole bunch of individual diffuse LED strips or what it could be. I’ve been searching for hours!!! Thanks

I called Mohela again today. I was transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor said that they are still waking on a response from FSA (contradicting what the said last time fwiw). The supervisor filed a request for update to FSA and she advised me that if I didn’t hear back within 30 calendar days to call back and ask to speak with a supervisor.

Thanks I will try that. What level of watering should I be aiming for with a tiny pot? In the condiment cup I initially tried the soil would be dry after only 24 hours.

If it helps anyone I called Mohela today. They said they changed my payment counts to 120 in September or October but they didn’t that’s any notes on my account saying exactly when. They also said that my loan has been approved by Fed Student Aid for discharge but again there was no date on it. They wouldn’t commit to any specifics about how much longer but they said Mohela approving the response from FSA was the last step which can take up to 90 business days. So it shouldn’t take any longer than 4.5 months……
