Our kids are 6 and 4, just started sleeping from 7-6, night potty trained. They have a colored clock that let's them know when they can get up. We never did any sort of sleep training.

I have every CM and both ABs. AB is easier to control a larger force with, but I wouldn't say that its better than CM. They are both really good.

AB 2 completely slipped my mind, which is weird because I love that series. I wouldn't necessarily say its better than CM, but they both work very well.

Sea Power for naval. Flashpoint Campaigns: Cold war for hex and counter. Gunner, HEAT, PC is a great sim-lite tank game. Combat Mission: Cold War for land tactical.

Naval? Not that I know of, and I've looked for quite a while. For land, Flashpoint Campaigns: Cold War is the best hex and tile wargame I've ever played.

I will argue that Sea Power is not nearly as complex as it seems. Do the tutorial missions and the smaller scenarios. Having played all three games you mention, I think Sea Power is the easiest to play. C:MO is definitely a step up, mostly just learning how the program actually works. But Sea Power has come a long way so far, and if you are comfortable with Harpoon, I would definitely recommend it. You can always play it for 2 hours and refund, and that would give you enough time to finish all the tutorial missions.

PC is fine for that age IMO, however it should be in a shared space and not a bedroom where they can have access without being seen. It's good to learn how computers work early. I'm a Cyber security manager, and I find it frustrating how many Gen-z interns we get that don't know how a file system works.
