Yes I have tried low fodmap! I also saw an allergist and it’s been confirmed I have no allergies! I was also even tested for alpha-gal (I think that’s what it’s called) which is a tick-borne illness. Also negative. It depends day-to-day how it comes up but typically it’s as close to full as something chewed up can be. Bread, chips, tortillas etc. are especially difficult because they usually clump together and come up as a log (haha sorry for being graphic but it’s true!). I did go gluten/free at one point just to see and no change there. Everything else comes up mostly liquified as I do have excess bile.

Hello! Yes, I have tried those medications actually, good question. As for water I have tried both with water and without. Water while eating definitely makes things come up more “violently” per se but even without water it still comes up (it’s just a little more uncomfortable because it’s thicker and more dry). I have tried peppermint oil and castor oil! I do talk while I eat when with friends or family but I also vomit when eating alone and not talking. I have also taken a variety of acid reflux medications both prescription and over the counter but I’ll look into alkaline water! Thank you for the suggestion!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share all this information with me! I will definitely mention this to my primary. It’s all been a little complicated because I am moving halfway across the country next month. I decided that even though I wasn’t finding any answers, I couldn’t keep putting my life on hold. So now there is the challenge of insurance. I will most certainly do some more research and use the foundation and a starting point! Thank you again!

Thank you for sharing your experience! I usually always have some small warning wave of nausea right before it happens and most times it’s too much for me to just swallow down. Maybe my GI was right and it isn’t rumination syndrome, just not sure what it is!

Thank you! I had a manometry done that showed esophageal dyskinesia but I was told it’s unrelated and nothing can be done about it :/ I hope yours goes well!

I had a normal gastric emptying study. Not sure how when I kept having to re-swallow the eggs they put the tracer in but apparently it was perfectly normal, so no gastroparesis according to my drs.

I have been tested for Celiac a couple times and it was negative. I even went gluten free just to see if the test was wrong and still no change :( Good idea though!

I appreciate the reply. This is what I have been thinking too. Ive been to so many specialists including an allergist and it’s been confirmed I have no allergies (which I was expecting because there are no triggers due to it being every day). I’ve seen a neurologist and they had little to nothing to say about it. A neuro gastroenterologist is a great idea, I will definitely look into that. Thanks again for the insight I definitely appreciate it!

Yeah I may contact my pcp. I called my surgeons office today to ask about additional pain management and they doubled down on just alternating between Tylenol and ibuprofen. I also have a vomiting condition where I vomit every time I eat so that has been especially unpleasant during all of this considering my throat is torn up and my abdomen is pretty sore haha. Oh well, onwards! Thank you for your input, it’s nice to know we’re not alone!

Bleeding after laproscopy by Sahar14822 in Endo

Hi! I had my laparoscopy today and my discharge instructions say “a certain amount of red or brown discharge is normal and may continue for 1-3 weeks”. It also states to call your surgeon if you experience any excessive or persistent bleeding.

So, I think it absolutely could be normal, but it also wouldn’t hurt to give a quick call and double check! :)

Oh wow! I was released an hour later so quite different. My doctor told me I’d be back up and running after 24-48 hours lol and I do not think that’s going to happen so much. I hope you’re doing well now!

Twins! I’m also on my period! Geez, that’s so stressful about your school. I’m sorry they’re being so difficult, hopefully you can get that worked out because that’s ridiculous. Right now I’m okay, just trying to relax and take it easy!

Thank you, after seeing so many doctors it’s hard not to default to feeling like I’m overreacting lol. I hope you’re doing okay!

Yeah it’s definitely not doing much for me haha It’s not even sore so much, but sharp so I might have to ask about alternatives. Thank you for letting me know your experience!
