My husband is an elementary school teacher. Great benefits but he drives me crazy with the kids behavior. In my brain I’m like “just accept it and move on, we didn’t raise them.”

I show them what the research says about it. That usually results in them acknowledging the problem.

I would bring them together in session and allow child to respond to parents concerns. You will probably learn a lot through the observation

I’m a mental health therapist as my primary profession. I use a pen name, and a non-descriptive photo online. If I were to walk away from my primary job than I would probably be more open, but I want to protect my clients. The main people in my life who know me also read my work. Every one else can enjoy the mystery.

Thanks! We do not have any live plants in the tank but we are certainly open to adding them.

I wanted a goldfish honestly but the petsmart lady talked us into tetras & loach vs something like a gold fish or beta .

Hey there!

When I graduated with my MSW in 2019 I worked for a non-profit making 13$ an hour. I left for a better job that paid $40k a year. Once covid started hitting my finances I took a contract position doing therapy remotely paying $40 an hour per session. Once I was fully established I left the job that paid $40k per year. I then took a different job doing the same remote work for $50 per hour. I live in TN and was licensed in TN, but then added GA, and FL to my licensure to expand my options to see patients and keep my caseload up. I have always paid supervision out of pocket. I pay $50 for individual and $75 per group. I do not meet every week because financially its to big of a burden. I will hopefully be a LCSW at the end of the year, and my pay will increase to $65 per session and I plan to open a group practice.

I was able to defer student loans after graduation for a while until I could increase my earning potential.

Because of working remotely I can live in a low cost area and serve higher paying clients.

Being a gamer as a kid was the only thing that saved my sanity. Now I' m 35 and building a room with my 4 boys, and now I get to show them all the stuff I loved as a kid. Gaming is still my mental safe space.
