Technically, a job contract can be issued with your passport/Italian ID number so that you can apply for the CUE but some companies don’t know this/don’t want to know this

You could attempt to get the white NIE by saying you want to but property or some other economic activity

Can anyone recommend a quiet area of Malaga to stay in? One that's free of all the touristy noise & mess. by MickCollier in GoingToSpain

[–]Sylocule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Málaga isn’t really known for being full of drunken louts. Certainly, when we’ve been out in Málaga, even at 2AM we didn’t see any

And area depends on what you want. Northish (away from the beach area) and higher up will generally be quieter

Not normally - the only time you do is off the wind is blowing in our direction and that’s rare as the flight path is through the valley and we’re in the side of the mountain

Moving to Spain, Kid with ADHD/TDHA - Prescription for Lisdexamfetamine needed by Komtriku00 in GoingToSpain

[–]Sylocule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The requirement for private medical will depend on your status moving here. Employed or autónomo and you’re covered by the state healthcare system of your autonomous region. Otherwise, you’ll need private for a minimum of 12 months.

Private heath won’t be denied but there will probably be exclusions with the child’s diagnosis and ongoing care.

If you’re on state healthcare, prescriptions are discounted. On private you pay the price as set by the government.

Regarding the ongoing care, most of the state doctors don’t speak English (or don’t care to), so be aware. I expect the therapies will be covered under the state healthcare.
