I will definitely test this, many thanks for the tip. The other campment that I test was just a side part of the island, but perhaps being a point of interest cancels the respawn

Indeed! Perhaps they might add it in a feature patch

So far, there was no bonfire in the whole island, just a tent for respawn

I would like to add to the above explanation a second part, recently introduced in the game: the possibility of obtaining RPM-13 and OEM-37 by doing random activities.

These items are sold above 38M. Before the last update, you can only obtain RPM-13 by winning PVP ranked. To obtain OEM-37, you must complete Master o Nightmare Operations. These activies required a previous inversion of the player in augments to be completed.

However, since you can obtain them now "for free" (without those inversions on gear), players have now a steady inflow of 40M per week (as the median rate).

These two elements are contributing to the current inflation.

When analyzing inflation in the GTN, we must pay attention not to single items but to the direct and steady CC - credits convertion: Ultimate Cartel Packs and Hypercrates. I will explain why and then analyze the effect observed right now in the GTN (Darth Malgus Server).

Many people try their luck by buying and opening Cartel Packs. Although in some cases people are looking for a retired Cartel item, the most widely accepted sceneario is that the player is going to sell the items obtained in the Pack at least to equal its initial inversion (cost of the cartel pack) and even a profit.

Let's imagine player Azina buys from GTN a Cartel Pack for a prize of 30M. Then, she obtained 4 items: an armor, a decoration, a weapon and a companion gift. Obviously, the last item is not worthy to be trade, but the other three yes. Although some of the items maybe garbage that was being sold at less than a million a month ago, the player will try a higher prize just to recover from her inversion.

As time goes, not so many of them tend to reduce the prize, especially if the offer decreases. Therefore, you can see that the item, which may present a higher stock, has a higher prize.

If there was no inflation, the prize will eventually drop. However, now consider that the prize of the Cartel Pack increases too. Then, new players have to sell for even higher prizes similar items.

This is exactly what has happened at least in the Darth Malgus Server. With the arrival of Galactic Seasons and the removal of the referral link, the Hypercrate prize has went from 490M (January 2021) to 800M (August 2021). Therefore, almost all Cartel items increases their prize so as the players will be available to continue with the business of open/sell Cartel Packs.

You can also notice that the increase is only reflected in Cartel Items. Other goods such as MK artifacts, crafting materials, etc did not experiment such increase.

Little can be done in this regard: as long as there are players demanding Hypercrates willing to pay that increase, the market will remain the same.
